Dr. Alberto Núñez

He is vastly experienced in the coordination, execution and follow-up of R&D Projects in Health and Chemical Sciences. Among his areas of expertise are the analysis of organic traces, control and quality assurance (ISO-9001) and antioxidant therapy (oxidative stress).

Dr. Diogenes Aybar

Former Vice-Minister for Science and Technology in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT), Consultant at the Interamerican Development Bank (BID), among other key position in important private and public institutions. Dr. Aybar has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from City University of New York and a Ph.D. in Chemical Enzymology from Moscow State University. Dr. Aybar has vast knowledge and experience in various areas of science, from biological processes implied in the design and functioning of enzymes, biotechnology for the extraction of plants products (leaves, stems and roots), biotechnology for homogenizing fruit juices, production of homogeneous disaggregates from plant tissues (leaves, stems and roots), extraction and purification of alginic acid, and much more. He has authored or co-authored several articles in scientific journals.

Dr. Juan Aragoneses

Graduate in medicine and surgery from the University of Córdoba, Dr. Aragoneses is currently the Dean as well as Director of Postgraduate Courses in Implantology, Periodontics and Oral Surgery at the University Popular, International University Isabel I de Castilla "la Católica". Furthermore he performs as Director of Implantology, Periodontics and Oral Surgery Masters at ISEP, Spain.

Dr. Rashid Kamal

  • President and Founder of International Biotechnology Associates
Dr. Kamal is the president and founder of International Biotechnology Associates (IBA), a strategic consulting partner for companies, institutions and government agencies, helping them bring life-changing biotechnologies to people around the world. Dr. Kamal is an emeritus professor and previous director of the Biomanufacturing Education and Training Center (BETC) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Prior to WPI, Kamal was a research professor at Utah State University and the associate director of the university's Center for Integrated BioSystems. In addition, he was on the faculty at Pennsylvania State University where he studied the impact of environmental pollutants on human health and developed undergraduate biotechnology courses and workforce training programs. He was instrumental in the establishment of Penn State's Biotechnology Institute and Bioprocessing Resource Center programs. Dr. Kamal also directed the nationally recognized Summer Symposium in Molecular Biology at Penn State for 10 years.
