Adam Nelson

Adam Nelson is a founding partner of Fleming & Nelson, LLP which paved the way for what is now known as The Nelson Law Group. He has focused on local government representation and general civil litigation. Adam has experience in employment issues, planning & zoning implementation, probate and estate planning, contract drafting, and condemnation actions. He is a member of the Georgia and South Carolina Bars, and is licensed to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia and all federal districts within the State of Georgia. Adam currently serves on the CSRA Regional Commission as an appointee from the Speaker of the House of the State of Georgia. He is the Chairman of the Board for the YMCA of Columbia County and serves as a member of the Steering Committee for Youth Leadership Columbia County. He is also a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta. Adam is originally from Harlem, GA and is a double graduate of Mercer University, receiving his undergraduate degree in 2005 and his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law in 2008. C. William Dasher

Will Dasher serves as an Associate at The Nelson Law Group. A native of Millen, Georgia, Will attended high school at Edmund Burke Academy in Waynesboro. Will then attended the University of Georgia where he graduated in 2018, lettering in football as a student manager. He then attended Mercer Law School and graduated in 2022 as an inductee into the Order of the Barristers. Upon graduation, Will went on to serve as a Staff Attorney for the Hon. Thomas "Britt" Hammond and Hon. Harold Hinesley in the Superior Courts of Warren, McDuffie, Lincoln, Wilkes, Glascock, and Taliaferro Counties in 2022. Afterwards, Will served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Augusta Judicial Circuit in 2023. While serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Will served the citizens of Richmond and Burke Counties managing a large volume of felony cases ranging from drug cases to murder, and trying several cases to verdict as a first or second chair. Will is licensed to practice law in Georgia. When he is not practicing law, Will enjoys spending time with his wife, Ali, watching football, playing guitar, hunting, and playing golf.

Jordan M. Hanson

Jordan M. Hanson is an associate with The Nelson Law Group. A Columbia County native, Jordan attended Augusta University where he graduated with honors in 2016. He then attended Mercer University where he received his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law in 2020. During law school Jordan interned as a law clerk for the Justice John Ellington of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Upon graduation, Jordan served for two years as an Assistant District Attorney for the Columbia Judicial Circuit from 2021 to 2023. While serving Columbia County as an Assistant District Attorney Jordan managed a large volume of misdemeanor and felony cases, gaining valuable trial and advocacy experience. During that time, he prosecuted a wide variety of cases from traffic ticket to and drug offenses to serious violent felonies. Jordan current serves as one of the Public Defenders for Columbia County Juvenile Court where he helps Juveniles, and their families navigate the court process and procedure. His practice areas include Local Government Law, Criminal Defense, Wills and Trusts, and Business Law. Jordan is licensed to practice law in Georgia. When not practicing law, Jordan enjoys spending time with friends and family, and cheering on them Dawgs.

Pierce G. Blitch, IV

Pierce Blitch serves as a partner at The Nelson Law Group, A Richmond County native, Pierce attended the University of Georgia where he graduated in 2007. He then attended Atlanta's John Marshall Law School and graduated in 2010. Upon graduation, Pierce went on to clerk for the Hon. J. Carlisle Overstreet and the Hon. Carl C. Brown, Jr. in the Superior Courts of Richmond, Columbia and Burke Counties from 2010 to 2012. After his clerkship he served as an Assistant Solicitor General in the Richmond County Solicitor General's Office prosecuting misdemeanor cases from 2012 to 2013. Immediately prior to joining The Nelson Law Group, Pierce served as an Assistant District Attorney in the District Attorney's Office for the Augusta Judicial Circuit from 2013 to 2016. While serving as an Assistant District Attorney Pierce served the citizens of Richmond, Columbia and Burke Counties managing a large volume of misdemeanor and felony cases ranging from traffic offenses to murder, and trying several cases to verdict. Pierce is licensed to practice law in Georgia and South Carolina. Pierce is also a certified neutral by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution in the area of General Civil Mediation. When not practicing law, Pierce enjoys spending time with his wife Elizabeth, hunting, playing golf, working the land at his farm in Burke County, and hunt test training with his and his family's dogs.

TOM WATKINS
