Amber Schulte provides Granite Capital Group with over 20 years of experience in publication and managing investor relations including all outward facing offering and marketing materials. Her extensive professional experience includes the art direction of book cover design, catalogs, various collateral and correspondence. She oversees GCG's extensive efforts to communicate with its investors, keeping them current with the company's new offerings, objectives and pertinent updates regarding their investments.
Prior to joining Granite Capital Group, Amber worked for the reference publisher ABC-CLIO. She started her career there and worked in marketing for the three product lines. She went on to work for Silverander Communications in Santa Barbara continuing her development in marketing and project management.
She earned her B.A. in English from University California, Santa Barbara.
Ashley joined Granite Capital Group to support the acquisitions team in the underwriting, due diligence coordination, and financing of new deals. Prior to joining GCG, Ashley received her bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Management.
Bruce Savett has more than 40 years of experience in commercial property brokerage, finance, property management, syndication and accounting. He is the founder of Granite Capital Group, a firm that provides an extensive platform of commercial real estate services encompassing sponsored investment funds, customized advisory asset management, and 1031 exchanges. In 2017, he co-founded Granite Management Group, a property management company that specializes in optimizing the financial performance of residential real estate through hands on management Prior to founding Granite Capital Group, Mr. Savett cofounded Granite Peak Partners, a real estate investment firm.
His previous experience includes serving as president of IEC Real Estate Corporation and owning and operating a real estate brokerage. He has personally brokered more than 100 multi-million-dollar transactions, created and managed real estate syndications comprised of $800 million in holdings, and raised over $150 million in investment capital. A certified public accountant, Mr. Savett's background in accounting and finance provides him with a strong foundation for understanding and facilitating major real estate transactions.
Bruce is married with two adult children and lives in Santa Barbara, California. He enjoys yoga, backpacking, biking, power and sail boating, and gourmet cooking.
Kim joined Granite Capital Group with over 15 years of experience in construction management as well as nearly two decades of project management experience in commercial interior design. Kim has excelled at various project roles from on-site construction management to leading overall project development, owner's representation, client relationships, and bringing projects from conception to completion. She is a passionate problem solver who believes an effective path forward can always be found in the midst of any challenge.
Kim has a bachelor's degree in interior design from Texas Tech University and lives in northern Colorado. She enjoys all outdoor activities including biking, fishing, camping, hiking, kayaking, and is a travel enthusiast.
Mrs. Guttas-Savett is actively involved with Urban Land Institute (ULI) and sits on the committee for Young Leaders (YLG) and the committee for Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI). She has previously acted as a committee chair for Sponsorship and for Rising Leaders for CREW SF (Commercial Real Estate Women), as well as the Membership Committee at St. Francis Yacht Club. In her free time, Mrs. Guttas-Savett enjoys training for triathlons, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with her husband and dog, Voltaire.
Susan Savett obtained her doctoral degree in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2014. She was actively involved in working with small and rapidly growing companies as a consultant providing research and insight to their strategic developmental process.
Mrs. Savett has worked with GCG since inception in 2003 as a researcher on various projects. In her spare time, she likes to ski, learn about new topics of interest, and spend time with her family.
