HAQ CONSULT

In early 2014 HAQ Consult associated with the JV of Gruner AG Switzerland and BARQAAB Consulting Services (pvt) Ltd to carry out a comprehensive study of "Fire Safety Measures for various types of buildings under jurisdiction of Lahore Development Authority". Engr Khan of HAQ Consult acted as the Authorized Rep & Team Leader for the JV. This ground breaking report; the first fire safety study of Pak traditional buildings was submitted on 27 Nov 2014 to the client. SOPs were later developed for LDA. These general recommendations for fire safety are the first study in Pakistan. The Safety Audit will commence in June 2016. Several major shortcomings have been identified.
