KAYABEKLER - Key Persons

Hamdi POYRAZ was born at Adana-Turkey in 1952. He graduated from Military Academy in 1973, from War College in 1982, and from US Armed Forces Academy in 1990. In between 1992-1994, he worked as a senior military attache in Bangladesh-Dhakka, Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia, and Bangkok-Thailand. Starting from 1994, he worked as a staff officer to Commando Brigade, to Armor Brigade, and to Turkish General Staff. In between 2001-2004, he worked as a commandant to Strategic Research Institute at Turkish War Academy. Mr. POYRAZ, retired from his post at Military in 2004. Then he worked as a consultant for Aksa Enerji A.Ş., İlçe Taşımacılık A.Ş., and Asist Gümrük Müşavirliği ve Dış Ticaret Danışmanlık A.Ş. until 2011. He is a honorary member of Istanbul Golf Club and Cercle d'Orient (Büyük Kulüp). He is fluent in English.

Melis YÜCEDAĞ was graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations. She began her career at a local CPA firm. In 2014, she had her graduate degree from Adnan Menderes University Department of Business Administration. As a CPA at her own CPA firm, she served numerous firms. She is a member of Istanbul Chamber of Certified Public Accountants and Union of Financial Councellors and Accountants. She is experienced in Labour Law and Social Security Law. She also holds Human Resources Specialist certificate. She is fluent in English.

She holds her undergraduate degree from Çanakkale 18 Mart University Department of Finance. In 2014, she also completed her graduate studies at Marmara University Department of Accounting and Finance. She worked as an assistant auditor in a CPA firm at Turkey in between 2012-2014. Then from 2014 to 2016, she worked as an auditor in a leading CPA firm in Turkey. She has been working as a certified public accountant (SMMM). She is a member of Istanbul Chamber of Certified Public Accountants. While working as a CPA in Turkey, she undertook tax audits with a special focus in tax compliance as well as independent audits according to Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK). As part of her work experience, she has deep knowledge and experience on health, food, textile, energy, pharmaceutical, construction, retail and tourism industries. She has a deep experience on internal control, transfer pricing and thin capitalization issues. She is also fluent in English. In 2011, she was graduated from Istanbul University Department of Business Administration. Between 2012 and 2017, she worked as senior auditor in VAT Refund Department at one of the biggest Audit Firms in Turkey. She is a member of Istanbul Chamber of Certified Public Accountants and has been at Kayabekler since 2017 as the head of VAT Department
