Heather Cooke

Heather had a broad career within Human Resources that spanned almost 10 years designing, implementing, and refining programs and processes focused on attracting, retaining, and motivating her customers inside companies like Fairfield Manufacturing and Great Lakes Chemical. She rejoined Rick and Jon at Kinsley Sarn in 2007 as Executive Recruiter. In this role, she contributes to the overall success of the company by sourcing, assessing, and following through with top talent in the marketplace. Heather's specialization includes recruiting senior managers and directors across a broad range of industry sectors and functional areas including Operations, R&D, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Human Resources. Her high touch and collaborative approach with candidates makes her an invaluable partner throughout the search process. Her expertise in all aspects of the search process enables her to add significant value; her people skills, tenacity and drive are a true differentiator. Heather graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Political Science, Public and Environmental Affairs. She resides in West Lafayette, Indiana with her husband and two sons.

Jonathan Sarn

Jon received his assessment training while at Great Lakes and has participated in several key executives' reviews. He has M&A experience with each of his employers, with particular expertise in staffing and talent assessments designed to support the successful integration. Jon holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a MS in Behavioral Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. He attended the Advance HR Executive program at the University of Michigan and is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt, a DDI trainer and a CCP.

Kate Gotter

Kate is the Recruiter in the Mountain West Office and is focused on identifying and delivering exceptional SaaS talent. She excels at designing and implementing sustainable and scalable recruiting solutions that drive value for our clients with complex and challenging hiring demands. Driven by her desire to match career goals with position expectations, Kate possesses an outstanding retention of placed candidates. As a result of her take-charge leadership style, she is able to deliver high-value strategies and methodologies designed to deliver optimal results for every client. Consistently recognized by her clients and team members for her extraordinary commitment and professional attitude, Kate is an invaluable member of the team. Her driving focus on strategy and metrics are hallmarks of her success, while also enabling her gain a deep understanding of client needs and expectations in developing programs that optimize performance and impact bottom-line performance. Kate is a volunteer at her church and dedicates Wednesday afternoons to Sun Valley food pantry. Kellie Sarn - CEO

Kellie is Managing Partner and is responsible for strategically and operationally developing and deploying Kinsley Sarn's marketing, brand strategy, and client experiences. She also leads the development of the communication plan that raises our awareness in the market and contributes to the company's recognition as a value-added partner to current and future clients. To drive recognition and enhance our client relationships, she leverages various mediums to share her ideas and industry best practices. Kellie's energy, commitment, and ability to listen and deeply understand our clients' challenges makes her a valuable resource on numerous projects. She works closely with the team to strategize ways to attract the best talent and create a positive and impactful presence in key environments. Kellie also helps carry out Kinsley Sarn's vision by partnering with clients and team-members to go beyond tradition and expand our methods for the retention of great talent. Previously employed at Purdue University, Kellie developed and rolled out their now thriving student retention program, Supplemental Instruction (SI). Prior, she was with eGenerosity, a technology start-up where she created the strategic marketing and communications program for Sunrise Assisted Living as an Executive Director. Her early career included roles with Andersen Consulting as a Marketing and Technology Trade Consultant, and NBC News as a News Desk Communications Specialist. She has her MS in Applied Behavioral Science from John Hopkins University and a BA in Communications from DePauw University.

Lucy Grylls

Lucy is an Executive Recruiter who is responsible for finding and screening talent within our clients' needs. Using strong communication and critical decision-making skills while interacting with candidates allows her to find top talent needed to fill roles within the different industries we serve. She works closely with our Business Development team to gain an in-depth understanding of our client's requirements and expectations to deliver outstanding prospects. Lucy has been in the recruitment field since graduating from the University of Alabama. In her past role she had experience recruiting in the revenue cycle department associated with healthcare. She is driven by the idea of delivering results that can alter and aid in reforming companies. Lucy is a result-oriented recruiter eager to boost hiring satisfaction and bring exceptional candidates to new and current clients. Lucy lives in Nashville, TN where she enjoys exploring new restaurants and afternoon walks around the golf course with her friends.

Mario Mathieson

Before joining the team, Mario held a wide variety of senior Human Resources leadership roles with Fortune 1000 companies including Hadeed Steel, Great Lakes Chemical, and Chemtura Corporation. He has a wealth of senior-level and international Human Resources experience. He has partnered and assisted many Global Business P&L leaders of large business units with global teams covering commercial, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain operations to drive business results under very challenging conditions and circumstances. Mario has been accountable for placing senior executives globally, as well as leading talent management programs and business performance improvement projects at the business level. He has led regional Human Resources teams in Latin America, EMEA, and APAC to deliver world-class functional services to multiple business and functional organizations, including the design of country HR policies and procedures covering employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent management, and M&A. Mario has been a project leader of major M&A activities, tax optimization principle initiatives, and restructuring programs globally. This includes the design and execution of formal employee relations consultations and communications programs and activities in several global locations. As a respected executive coach to business and functional leaders, Mario has been a trusted member of multiple executive teams, and is known for his "plan it, design it, and get it done" ethos. Culturally adept, Mario is bilingual (English and Italian) and has lived and worked successfully all over the world from Asia/Pacific and the Middle-East, to Europe and North and South America. Based in Manchester, England, Mario leads our international business providing leadership of retained executive search engagements as well as consulting assignments involving leadership development, talent management, culture shaping and engagement strategies, M&A support, and other human capital challenges.

Richard Kinsley

Before forming Kinsley Sarn Executive Search, Rick was a corporate officer and held senior executive positions with Fortune 500 companies including AlliedSignal, Standard Oil of Ohio, and British Oxygen Corporation. Rick has been directly accountable for the global leadership of successful people processes and programs for large, multinational corporations serving global markets. During his career, Rick held general management, sales, marketing, business development, operations, and quality management positions. Rick has extensive experience coaching, developing, and recruiting C-suite executives, Board members, and other senior leaders. His industry experience includes materials, mining, electronics, capital equipment, life sciences, retail, and consumer packaging. He is a sought-after facilitator and public speaker. His effectiveness in optimizing leadership and organizational performance, combined with his broad knowledge of business strategies and best practices, have proven exceptionally valuable to his clients. Rick earned dual degrees (Economics and Human Resources Management) from Le Moyne College and an MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School. He is certified in executive assessment, and has personally conducted hundreds of executive selection and development assessments in multiple industries. Certified as a facilitator and coach by the prestigious Arbinger Institute, Rick is also a Six Sigma Black Belt and is certified in psychometric evaluation by the Performance Assessment Network®.

Tera Orey

Tera is the Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for leading the firm's Mountain West Office. Tera is exceptional at partnering with client organizations and providing outstanding customer service due to her honest and straight-forward approach as well as her integrity and forthrightness. A true business partner to her clients, she excels at navigating the terrain of resolving recruiting needs and assessing talent with flawless precision. She provides a value-added approach to every client and candidate she works with and has a tenacious spirit which enables her to go above and beyond to get the job done with outstanding results. Joining Kinsley Sarn was not an accident. Tera launched an extensive search of the top Executive firms in the nation. Her decision was based on two criteria: First, she knew she wanted to be with a national firm. This way she could concentrate on relationship-based selling and have access to top talent nationwide. Second, she was looking for a quality partner she believed in. What stood out as she talked to Kinsley Sarn is she knew she was talking to top professionals who understood the importance of developing long lasting partnerships. A native of Northern Virginia, Tera developed a sharp eye and passion for business development while living in the DC Metro area. She graduated from George Mason University in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. She moved to Denver in 2009 and has since immersed herself in the Denver HR and Recruitment market. Tera is PHR and SHRM-CP certified. She volunteers with Denver Dress for Success, a local nonprofit that helps at-risk women find and retain employment. She lives in the Washington Park neighborhood with her daughter Dylan and pup Mia. Together they enjoy visiting the Denver botanic gardens, working on her 1920s Wash Park bungalow, skiing, hiking, and entertaining family and friends. Our Mountain West Office, located in Denver, Colorado is led by Tera Orey, our Vice President of Business Development. Her passion for business development compelled her to venture deeper into the world of HR and Recruitment. With both PHR and SHRM-CP certifications, Tera's expertise allows her to provide clients and candidates with an added level of service in the Denver market.
