Mr. M.U.G. Thirumavalavan is a Post Graduate in Chemistry having more than three decades of experience in Research & Development of APIs and project management within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Previously, he was working at the Pharma and Biotech divisions of M/s Southern Petrochemical Corporation Limited (SPIC LTD).
Mr. Thirumavalavan has specialized in the synthesis and scale up of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients from bench scale to production batches. As part of his role as CEO, he is leading corporate innovation and the R&D department. Mr. Thirumavalavan has developed the processes for manufacturing of Pentosan Polysulphate Sodium, Calcium L-5- Methyltetrahydrofolate and other APIs.
