The organization has served its members for decades providing information and support for retailing fine carpets... ORRA is a group of like-minded rug retailers who sell and service quality rugs and carpet. We are committed to mutual benefits along the value chain from our vendors, interior designers and to the final consumer... ORRA developed the Certified Rug Appraiser program in 1979. It is an exhaustive examination that certifies an individual to be an appraiser of oriental rugs. CRA's are accepted as experts by the banking and insurance industries across the US and Canada. In addition, ORRA works with most state attorneys general regarding the problems of deceptive and fraudulent sales of rugs.
