Christopher Marinelli has been a dedicated member of The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center team since 2010. Hailing from Grass Valley, CA, Christopher started his journey with The Ridge when he was 17 years old.
From his initial position as an Outside Service Attendant, his dedication and passion for the game saw him transition through roles as Golf Shop Assistant, and now, to his prominent roles as Tournament Director and Men's Club Director.
In his pivotal role, Christopher is the driving force behind the meticulous planning, organization, and oversight of all tournaments hosted at The Ridge. His unmatched expertise, coupled with his commitment, has made him an invaluable asset to the course, ensuring every event is executed with precision and excellence.

Born and raised in Loomis, CA, Jake Smeltzer's journey with golf began at the age of 7. Embracing the sport, he actively participated in local junior golf programs, and it's these early experiences that fueled his passion and dedication to the game.
Since joining The Ridge Golf Course in 2018, Jake has been instrumental in shaping both individual lessons and our junior's program. Beginning his teaching journey in 2020, he holds a special affinity for junior golf, recognizing the doors it opened for him during his formative years.
Determined to deepen his expertise and bring the best to his students, Jake is currently immersed in the PGA's Professional Golf Management Program, with a specialized focus on teaching and coaching. In his own words, "I strive to help you improve your golf game using the knowledge that I have acquired over the years of recreational as well as competitive golf."
