Andrew's current research focuses on the assessment of pulmonary and coronary physiology using novel invasive techniques in the catheterisation laboratory and non-invasive echocardiographic techniques. He is currently a co-supervisor of higher degree students whose projects examine the use of sildenafil as a pulmonary vasodilator in pulmonary hypertension and a co-investigator on a number of multicentre trials of novel coronary stent technologies.
