THE UNION SAFETY SYSTEM

The Union Safety System (USS) is an innovative information-gathering and reporting system designed to provide the highest level of health and safety representation to union members. Through an app on members' cell phones, the USS gathers information from injured members to record when, where, why, and how a work site accident/injury occurred. This data is used to identify potential safety risks in the workplace. The union can use the information to protect its members from future unsafe work environments, equipment, and/or practices through collective bargaining.
