Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 23 years of experience providing counseling services to adults (ages 18 and up) and families navigating emotional challenges and life transitions in outpatient clinics and hospital settings. Amy graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, followed by a Masters of Social Work from Wayne State University. She has worked in various inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics honing her skills, interests and zeal for the helping profession. Amy has also worked in a number of hospital settings assisting people coping simultaneously with physical ailments coupled with interpersonal crisis. She continues to practice as an Oncology Certified Social Worker with people & families coping with the challenges associated with chronic and life-limiting illnesses. She is a certified addictions counselor in the state of Michigan and is trained in Energy work and Reiki. Prior to her employment with the Wellness Institute, Leslie worked as a chief clinical officer, clinical director, and therapist at various mental health facilities in the Jackson, Michigan area.

Luda Wilson

Miyuki is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has worked in clinics providing services in a wide range of mental illnesses to a diversified client base. She was born and raised in Japan and is completely bilingual speaks in both English and Japanese. In her earlier career, she worked in a multi-cultural global corporation for many years and later lived in Shanghai, China for two years. Her living experiences have equipped her to work with culturally and age diverse patients. Miyuki's treatment approach to patients is to "meet them where they are" in their mental state and carefully listen to their issues and focus on their needs. The focus is to help patients achieve their life's goals at their fullest potential by exploring who they are and what they truly need to lead a happier life. She is naturally intuitive to people's feelings and is personable, and empathetic. Miyuki earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Purdue University and her Master's Degree in Counseling from Ball State University with major concentration on Rehabilitation Counseling in addition to Clinical Mental Health. She had her practicum at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana involved in facilitating a 16-week Brain Injury Coping Skill program under the supervision of Neuropsychologist for patients who had suffered neurological dysfunctions by the result of brain injury and stroke. She also completed her internship at an outpatient clinic providing direct mental health and substance abuse treatment in individual sessions and co-facilitated group psychoeducation sessions weekly.
