David Wilks

David obtained a BA of Applied Science (Computer Science) in the 1990's and he worked in Australia and Singapore doing business intelligence applications development, then became IT Manager for an engineering firm with presence in 2 countries. In 2010, David moved into creative industry and did contract work for Singaporean government agencies and MNCs, producing various publications such as Annual Sustainability Reports and magazines. Consequently he developed an interest in policy matters which led him to do a Master of Public Administration at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. He is particularly in the effects of political and economic institutions on in a country and how they create well-being for the people of a country. His current projects are Doing Business in Asia and VintageBodyweight, an initiative to promote strength based training for older people.

Robin Garcia

Robin Garcia is a political scientist and the founder and chief executive officer of Warwick & Roger, a leading political affairs advisory firm specializing in emerging markets. He was senior lecturer at the University of the Philippines and at De La Salle University on international and comparative political economy, public policy analysis and design and international relations. As a corporate public affairs professional, he was head of legislative research for Stratbase, a partner of BowerGroupAsia in the Philippines. Previously, he was senior associate for an investment transaction consulting firm as well as policy consultant for several government and political institutions. Robin holds a Ph.D. degree in International Politics specializing in political economic change of Asian economies from the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) of Fudan University in Shanghai, China where he was awarded the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.
