FSMT CABLE CORPORATION

We are the fiber optic cable company that connects Chuuk, Pohnpei and Yap (and Kosrae in 2021) to the internet. We own the cables for the government, and are responsible for installing and maintaining the fiber network. Working under the government of the Federated States of Micronesia, with funding from the World Bank, we are introducing ultra high-speed internet to help develop FSM's economy and connect it to the rest of the world. As an FSM government corporation, our shareholders are the Government of FSM through the Department of Transportation, Communications & Infrastructure (DTC&I) and the Department of Finance and Administration (DOFA).
