As Founder of Gerber Realty, David Gerber brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. With a 34 year track record in commercial real estate, David has assisted his clients with their real estate goals through his focus on land acquisition, office leasing, and industrial transactions. Previous to starting Gerber Realty in 1994, David focused on working with medical professionals in The Texas Medical Center at Gretzer, Tow & Associates. Before embarking on his career in Commercial Real Estate, David was CEO and President of Gerber Restaurant Supply for 21 years, which was based in Houston and started by his own grandfather back in 1933.
David received his Bachelor's degree at Cornell University in Ithaca and then served in the U.S. Army as First Lieutenant from 1964 to 1966 in the Quartermaster Corps in Heidelberg, Germany. His time spent in the US Army along with his leadership skills as President of the family business has been the key in how Gerber Realty has differentiated itself from other companies. David and his team provide the highest level of personal service to their clients who are looking to lease, purchase, sell or rent a property. David is involved at every stage with each of his clients, and he coordinates the process with the principals and their attorneys to ensure a smooth transaction. Gerber Realty has grown steadily over the years based on referrals from satisfied clients.
Melissa became President of Gerber Realty in 2023 after joining her father at Gerber Realty in 2013. She spent the previous two decades working in Financial Sales & Life Insurance Planning along with Enterprise IT Sales. Melissa received her Bachelor's degree at the University of Texas in Austin and is a fourth generation Houstonian. Melissa's work ethic, enthusiasm and commitment are appreciated by her clients and she is thrilled to be the second generation in her family to work in the commercial real estate industry.
Melissa leverages her past work experience, combined with her relationships and market knowledge, to provide value to her company and clientele. As a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, Melissa's primary focus is tenant and buyer representation in the retail, office and industrial sector, along with the acquisition and disposition of real estate properties within the greater Houston market.
Melissa is an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) where she serves as the Sponsorship Committee Chair and volunteers in various community Non-profit organizations. In her free time, Melissa enjoys gardening, reading and traveling with her husband and three teenage daughters.

Shannon Wobbe is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Texas, and joined Gerber Realty in early 2024. With a lifelong passion for real estate and a love for design and architecture, Shannon is not just a commercial real estate professional; she is a creative problem solver and visionary.
Shannon grew up in Illinois, and stayed in the Midwest for college and graduate school, where she earned a BA and MA in Economics. She spent years as an international tax consultant at Ernst & Young in Houston before leaving to assist her physician husband in opening and operating a successful medical practice in the Memorial area.
Armed with her background in economics, experience in business, and a penchant for design and creativity, Shannon went on to successfully own, lease, and sell various properties, showcasing a personal understanding of the industry. Having this personal background in commercial real estate, along with her ability to effectively understand and communicate with her clients, has contributed greatly to Shannon's success.
