Beverly Brown

In her role with CarelonRx, Beverly Brown is responsible for creating and delivering a high-performing, engaged and transformational workforce that will transform the member and customer experience. With more than 15 years as a leader in human resources, Beverly has supported organizations ranging from 300 to 50,000 employees. Prior to joining Elevance Health, Beverly worked for CareerBuilder in several executive roles, implementing innovative approaches to improve employee engagement via a lean approach to working in human resources. She created an internal mentoring program during her time in the Atlanta office. Beverly also worked for Nissan Motor Corporation as a District Manager. Beverly holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, and her Master of Business Administration degree from the Keller School of Management.

Christine A. Higgins

Christine is Vice President, Pharma Analytics and Revenue Management for CarelonRx, leading a multi-functional team focused on driving pricing strategies and pharmacy analytic solutions in support of sales, marketing, product development and client reporting. The actionable insights her team provides enable and enhance the delivery of quality care, cost of care savings, pharmacy trend and revenue management to achieve profitable growth targets. Joining Elevance Health in 1992, Christine came to CarelonRx from the Anthem BCBS Plan in Connecticut, where she served as the Regional Vice President of Underwriting. Christine has held a variety of progressive positions within client analytics, proposal development, and marketing as well as leadership positions within the Sales and Underwriting disciplines at Elevance Health. Christine joined CarelonRx in February 2018, where she led the CarelonRx business launch, driving the cross-functional coordination of key program deliverables. Christine holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from The University of Connecticut School of Business.

Darren Gettings - VP

Darren Gettings leads networks, pharma contracting, and FWA for CarelonRx. Working to develop and implement new and innovative network products, Darren is responsible for and leads primary oversight of all network and mail solutions, including pharmacy contracting, credentialing and auditing, and direct pharmaceutical contracting. Starting his career as a licensed and registered pharmacist in Arizona, Darren is passionate about the quality of care pharmacists can provide. This passion led him to the business side of the industry, where he could make a stronger impact by expanding the scope of services that pharmacists may provide to patients. He quickly landed in Managed Care Pharmacy contracting and never looked back. Prior to joining CarelonRx, Darren was VP, Retail Channel Strategy and Management at Express Scripts, and was previously at Medco Health where he served as Vice President, Pharmacy Network Management. In addition to holding a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh, Darren also served as a hospital Corpsmen in the Navy Reserves for six years.

Lisa Morris

Job Titles:
  • Vice President, Clinical Pharmacy
As the senior leader of the CarelonRx Clinical Pharmacy Services organization, Lisa guides the strategy, development, and implementation of clinical pharmacy strategy and programs for CarelonRx. This includes all quality programs, drug lists, clinical cost of care strategies, and drug utilization review programs for Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare businesses. Lisa also oversees the CarelonRx Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) process. A 25-year veteran of Anthem, Lisa has held various progressive clinical pharmacy leadership roles within the organization. Leveraging her pharmacy background and extensive experience leading innovative clinical programs, Lisa brings a unique perspective to CarelonRx - promoting the use of effective drug therapies in coordination with management of total medical and pharmacy spend. She began her career as a retail pharmacist. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati.

Michele Paige

As a product and marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience across pharmacy, medical and health care delivery expertise, Michele is responsible for empowering members and delivering optimal health care experiences. She is focused on delivering on the best integrated strategies across the member, provider and client plan experience, creating connectedness and affordability. Michele joined CarelonRx with the mission to change the way health care is experienced and delivered after serving in several marketing and product leadership roles at organizations such as Medco Health, Cigna and Evernorth. She is a member of Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL) and an advisory board member of Seton Hall University Stillman School of Business.

Paul Marchetti - President

As president, Paul Marchetti is responsible for advancing CarelonRx's integrated, whole-person approach to care delivery and for driving programs and strategies that lead to improved affordability and outcomes. Paul has more than 25 years of payer and provider experience in healthcare delivery systems, business operations, product development and population health, and technology solutions. Before joining Elevance Health, he served as Chief Growth Officer at New Century Health, a specialty care management company, where he led top-line revenue growth, strategic planning and execution, and product development. Paul was formerly Vice President, Health Care Management and Vice President, National Networks and Contracting at Aetna; Senior Vice President, Network and Medical Cost Management at United Healthcare; and held leadership positions at Horizon Healthcare and Physicians Health Services. He serves on the boards of Availity, LLC, The Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, Inc. (CAQH), The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA), DomaniRx. Paul received a Bachelor of Science in Health/Healthcare Administration/Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Haven with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
