The Trust was established in terms of the BBBEE Act, No. 53 of 2003 as the broad-based black empowerment partner to Mathari Engineering Projects Services (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2010/000976/07, however the Trust, as an independent entity, may accept donor funding from other entities in order to fulfill its Principal Objective and Mandate.
