CLARE MCCORD

Clinical Experience Clare qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2014. Clare specialises in treating children and adults with complex communication support needs, including working with individuals who present with behaviours that challenge services in the community and rehabilitation centres. She has a special interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Clare is passionate about supporting clients who present with social communication challenges as a result of neurological damage, thus empowering clients to experience the positive quality of life and maintain relationships post-ABI.

EUAN ROBERTSON

Clinical Experience Euan is a driven and passionate Speech and Language Therapist with a BSc in Speech Pathology and Language Therapy from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. With twenty years of experience in the field of SLT Euan is committed to maximising the communication potential of his clients by direct therapy, training of staff and building meaningful therapeutic relationships. Euan has held Speech and Language Therapy posts in the independent/private sector, NHS and for charities. This breadth of experience allows him to tailor his approach to best meet the needs of the clients he works with. Euan is a licensed Talking Mats Trainer and is also trained in PODD (Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display) AAC system.

LAURA BROAD

Clinical Experience Laura qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from City University London. Since qualifying, Laura has worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS across various settings managing both pediatric and adult caseloads. Laura has been working as an associate Speech and Language Therapist for Neuro Rehab Group since October 2014, supporting adults with communication difficulties in community and rehabilitation settings. Laura plays a key role in the assessment and intervention approach with children and vulnerable adults with mild to profound learning disabilities, strokes or brain injuries. Laura completed her post-graduate dysphagia qualification in 2016. She is highly skilled in assessing and providing therapy for individuals with eating and drinking difficulties.

RACHEL MOIR

Clinical Experience Rachel is based in Manchester and covers the North West Region. She qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2008. Rachel worked in the NHS and left in 2013 to set up her own independent therapy practice. Rachel has worked with children and adults with complex needs both in the community and in specialist rehabilitation facilities. Rachel has a passion for working with people who have communication support needs and loves to embrace technology in all areas of her practice, offering Teletherapy when appropriate. She is experienced and qualified in treating dysphagia in both paediatrics and adults and is a certified McNeil Dysphagia Therapy clinician. She brings expertise in the field of cognitive communication disorders (high level language difficulties) and has a passion for supporting clients to improve their skills to participate in their social contexts with confidence.

SIMA KHAYAT

Clinical Experience Sima is a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with the Neuro Rehab Group Ltd. She qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2019. Sima's passion for speech and language therapy stems from her interest in the mechanism of languages as well as their use in bringing people together. This is paired with her hope to support any individual, who may be facing communication barriers, in achieving their communicative potential to be understood and to understand others.
