Andrew Burkinshaw

Job Titles:

Andrew, with us since 2015, is the Assistant Head of his local Church of England primary school, and has a background of ten years working in politics. He lives in New Malden, and attends New Malden Baptist Church with his wife, Ruth. Their two children keep them busy and entertained!

Anne Hudson

Job Titles:
  • Trustee
  • Chartered Fellow of the CIPD
Anne is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and has over 25 years' experience in HR and Workforce Development. Much of her career has been in Education and the Public Sector and she is currently HR Director for a Multi-Academy Trust. Anne and her husband Graham, worship at St Peter's Church in Farnborough in Hampshire where Graham is also a Church Warden. They have two adult sons, who are both married, and three lively grandchildren. Anne enjoys gardening, walking and reading in her spare time.

Bryan Duncan

Job Titles:

Bryan is one of our more recent trustees, appointed at the beginning of 2018. He has a background in real estate and business leadership. He also has experience of charity boards, and serves as an elder of the Tron Church in Glasgow - where he and his wife, Kate attend. They have two married daughters, living in Kent and east London respectively, and two granddaughters.

Carl Knightly

Job Titles:
  • Director of Networks
Carl leads external networking activity at London City Mission, engaging with senior church leaders, strategic Christian leaders, charities, parliamentarians and beyond, sharing the heart and vision of LCM. Prior to this Carl was the CEO of Faith in Later Life, which followed a role as Director of Engagement at Pilgrims' Friend Society where Carl held a wide-ranging portfolio including marketing, communications, PR and stakeholder engagement.

Chesman Isle

Job Titles:
  • Chief of Staff
Chesman joined LCM in January 2015 working in the CEO's office with Graham. He is the Chief of Staff and Company Secretary at the Mission. He has served in Christian charities in London since 2007 and before that he worked in banking in the City of London.

Christian Fielder

Job Titles:
  • Director of People and Organisation Development
Christian joined London City Mission in 2021 as Director of People and Organisation Development. He has thirty years experience in helping organisations set strategy, implement complex change and develop teams, working across the public, private and charitable sectors. He is passionate about helping LCM live out its values for the glory of God.

Efrem Buckle

Job Titles:
  • Training & Mentoring Director, Deputy Chief Executive
Efrem joined London City Mission in 2014 as a part time Training Manager helping to establish the LCM Pioneer Programme. Now as the Director of Training and Mentoring he seeks to serve LCM in strengthening impact and increasing the reach of our quality training provision.

Graham Miller - CEO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Executive
Graham joined London City Mission as Chief Executive in October 2013. Prior to that, he had worked as a missionary for Crosslinks in China and led a number of businesses and charities in the UK, Europe and East Asia. Graham, our Chief Executive, joined the Mission in 2014 after close to a decade in China as a missionary. His background is as Finance Manager for two large corporations and as an International Student Worker for Dundonald. He attends St Andrew's Anglican Church, Chelsea with his wife Alison and their two young children.

Ian Nash

Job Titles:

Ian, trustee since 1992, has a background as a Company Secretary. He's served on many boards and committees as Chair and Deputy Chair, and is co-leader of the Grace Church plant. He's also Church Warden of St Nicholas, Sevenoaks, and has led small groups for many years. He attends St Nicholas with his wife, Hilary.

Jason Roach

Job Titles:
  • Director of Ministries
The Rev Dr Jason Roach is a medical doctor by background and served as a special advisor to the Bishop of London and is a well-known evangelical author and speaker on a range of topics. Jason joins the LCM team as Director of Ministries after being the founder and pastor of The Bridge Church in Battersea London.

Marcia Shields

Job Titles:
  • Trustee
Marcia, a family lawyer who specialises in representing children in care, joined the board in 2015. For the past nine years she has volunteered as Chaplain at Holloway Prison, and has many years of experience working with Teen Challenge amongst those struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. She lives in east London and attends Shoreline Calvary North London. She has two grown-up children; a son and daughter.

Mosun Dorgu

Job Titles:

Mosun joined the board in 2008. She is a qualified medical doctor. She works as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the NHS. She is also involved in children and youth ministry, and mentors young adults. She has a son and daughter-in-law.

Nigel Parrington

Job Titles:

Nigel Parrington has worked in social housing since 1975 and joined the LCM board in 2016. Shaped by his father's example as an LCM missionary through the slum clearance era of the 1960s, he's now the Chief Executive of the Salvation Army Housing Association, which provides for over 5000 rough sleepers and young homeless people each year. As well as being a deacon in Bessels Green Baptist Church, he is married to Denise and has a son, two daughters, a granddaughter, two dogs and a motorbike!

Rachel Cruz

Rachel seeks to develop and maintain enduring gospel partnerships with supporters. Prior to working with London City Mission, Rachel has been working for over 20 years to advance a range of non-profit causes, including six years living in rural Kenya.

Richard Bulmer

Job Titles:

Richard joined the board in 2015, and is currently employed as an actuary. He's married to Kay, and they live in Ashtead, Surrey, where they attend Chessington Evangelical Church.

Richard Godden

Job Titles:
  • Trustee
Richard joined the board in 1998 and acts as Chair of the Finance Subcommittee. As a corporate London lawyer, he brings much legal wisdom to the table. He attends St John's Blackheath, an Anglican church near where he and Joanna, his wife, live.

Richard Montgomery - Chairman

Job Titles:
  • Chairman
Richard Montgomery joined the board in 2018 and worked for more than thirty years in senior positions in the oil industry. He is the former Managing Director of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, is a trustee of CPAS and also chairs a UK grant making charity that supports the poor and vulnerable. His wife works for their church, St Stephen's, in Twickenham where they live and worship, and they have three adult sons who are sometimes around. Richard is a keen cyclist and some would say also spends too much time watching it on television.

Roger Evans

Job Titles:

Roger has been a trustee since 2013. He is chair of the LCM Property Sub-Committee and a member of the Finance Sub-Committee. Now semi-retired, he was a Chief Executive in the NHS for 13 years and held senior positions in the Dept of Health. His work is now mainly with health-related charities. Roger is a member of Emmanuel Church, Wimbledon. He has a grown-up son and daughter, and six young grandsons.

Rui Domingues

Rui joined LCM in 2024 with a heart to drive the organisation's digital development, and make the most of the resources LCM is gifted with, to grow God's kingdom in London and beyond. Prior to his work with LCM, Rui has over 25 years' experience working with a range charities and not-for-profit organisations, helping them to transform their operations.

Shantelle Richardson - CCO

Job Titles:

Shantelle joined LCM in 2016 working to grow the organisation's awareness and share engaging and compelling content with evangelical Christians and churches. Shantelle has 10 years of communications and marketing experience, and she is passionate about seeing everyday Christians grow their confidence to share the gospel.
