Abi Cottrell

Abi is the Senior Designer at Seven Hills, leading on projects across the design studio, and mentoring and developing the skills of other designers. She has extensive experience across print and digital mediums, and leads on event identity and social media design with the wider creative services team. Significant projects Abi has worked on include creating the event identities for Unilever's Future of Work Summit and GDST Sutton High School's TEDx event, and leading on all social media content and branding for Sixth Sense events. As a part of her wider contribution to the Seven Hills team, Abi helps to organise team and office activities, which help to strengthen company culture, and leads the Seven Hills Change Maker of the Month initiative, she also arranged for the team to take part in a local run in Battersea Park. As a keen runner and passionate charity fundraiser, Abi ran the London Marathon and multiple half marathons in aid of Alzheimer's Society raising over £5,700 in total. Prior to Seven Hills, Abi led on generating in-house design, photography and marketing materials for the golf industry. This was preceded by time at a creative experience agency where she worked on event collateral and web and app design for companies ranging from FTSE 100 multinationals to niche industry specialists in finance and pharmaceuticals.

Adrianna Chai

Adrianna is a Campaign Executive who works across both the media and creative services teams at Seven Hills. Joining through the internship program, she has since been involved in the preparation and support for a range of roundtable and launch events for clients in the technology, social impact and finance sectors including Founders4Schools, Dell Technologies, Here East, Aon, and Goldman Sachs. She has also focused on research and campaign delivery projects for clients such as Brabners and Get Living. Prior to Seven Hills, Adrianna worked as a Communications Associate at a medical technology firm in Melbourne, Australia, where she worked in the internal communications and corporate affairs teams. Adrianna graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2022. During her undergraduate degree she was a part of the Student's Association of Management and Marketing committee, where she was responsible for written, social media and podcast content creation.

Aisha Rafiq

Aisha is a Senior Campaign Executive working across technology, future of work, consumer, and business clients. She enjoys actively engaging with a wide-ranging portfolio including clients such as Beamery, TPXimpact, Young Presidents' Organisation (YPO), Symphony and Advertising Week Europe. Aisha developed a solid foundation in PR following a previous internship with Seven Hills across education, consumer, and sustainability clients including Unilever, Bright Network, NatWest and Tony's Chocolonely. She is a passionate and enthusiastic member of the team, supporting senior colleagues and directors with day-to-day media activity such as media outreach, client liaison, and content development to deliver high quality work across her accounts. She has also supported with event planning and event execution for Dell Technologies. Aisha studied History at King's College London and completed a dissertation exploring Soviet-US rivalry in Afghanistan in the late-1970s and 1980s. While studying she was actively involved in a wide range of voluntary work aimed at supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives through widening participation, mentoring, and teaching.

Alex Rich

Alex is a Campaign Executive who works across an array of accounts, based particularly in the technology and finance sectors, including Tech London Advocates, Innovate Finance, Pembroke VCT, Academy and Generation. He also supported the launch of Transformbase, nurturing client-journalist connections. Having interned at Seven Hills during the early part of 2023, he gained experience of critical issue communications at Brunswick Group, before returning to Seven Hills later that year. At undergraduate, Alex studied Politics and International Relations at York University, progressing to do a Masters at the LSE in Politics and Communication the following year. During his studies he focused particularly on media analysis, writing a dissertation on broadsheet and tabloid reporting of the post-Brexit ‘Global Britain' policy document - which he also analysed. He is an avid foodie, with a love for cooking in his spare time.

Alice Hawken

Alice is a corporate communications specialist who delivers high profile campaigns and media relations programmes for her clients, helping to raise organisations' profiles and showcase their business priorities and milestones. Alice has worked with clients across the FMCG, travel and charity sectors - including major airlines and a high-profile drinks company - and at Seven Hills she works with organisations including Strava, Here East and the Business Growth Fund. Alice studied Politics and Sociology at Newcastle University, followed by a Masters in International Communications and Development. Alice is interested in coaching, and completed a Coaching for Business Short Course at City University, a skillset which complements her corporate communications experience.

Amelia Craddock

Amelia is a Campaign Manager who works across technology, future of work and purpose-driven clients at Seven Hills, primarily focusing on campaigns and media relations programmes. She works with industry bodies, fast-growth businesses, and not-for-profit organisations. Amelia is at the core of press office activity and supports on the delivery and execution of impactful media campaigns for her clients, including the UK FinTech's industry body Innovate Finance, global philanthropist James Chen, and Pembroke VCT. Amelia has worked with clients across the TMT, natural resources and ecommerce sectors - including major FTSE100 and FTSE250 businesses. Her background is in capital markets communications, working with clients to amplify their equity story to investors and other key stakeholders. Amelia holds a bachelors degree from the University of Bristol, where she studied French and Italian.

Bella Jankowitz

Bella is a Campaign Executive, working primarily in the media team, across a number of accounts including Mercato Metropolitano, Reckitt, CNBC, Goldman Sachs and Pembroke VCT. She supports a variety of functions across the business from event support to client management and daily media outreach. After completing her MSc in Media and Communications at The London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE), she developed a passion for strategic communications, reflected in her dissertation which investigated corporate social responsibility reporting in the mining industry. Prior to this, Bella studied her undergraduate at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, achieving a first in her BA Humanities, majoring in English and History.

Caroline Cooper

As Executive Assistant to co-founders Nick Giles and Michael Hayman, Caroline provides right-hand logistical support and works in the operations team to ensure the smooth-running of the office. Caroline also supports on client accounts, with a focus on providing community management support to Tech London Advocates; liaising with stakeholders, communicating with third parties and coordinating the website and newsletter communication to the 10,000+ members. She plays a key role in delivering all of TLA's events, working with the team from conception to delivery, including taking a delegation of 50 to China where she worked with the local partner to coordinate a week long itinerary of events in Shanghai and Beijing. Caroline regularly supports other high profile clients on event delivery including Advertising Week Europe, One Young World and Strava.

Charlotte Hastings - Managing Director

Charlotte leads our campaigns with the Young Presidents Organisation, working with Kerry Kennedy of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, and global disability activist Caroline Casey, on global summits such as Davos. She has over 20 years of international campaigns experience in Europe and Asia, based out of both London and Hong Kong. Charlotte excels at curating high-profile campaigns for mission-led businesses, with a background in media relations, events, marketing, brand positioning, executive training and fundraising - her personal favourites including the Unilever Future of Work Summit and Hong Kong based philanthropist James Chen. She has also led consumer campaigns for Coutts London Jewellery Week, City of Westminster, Metlife, Swire Properties, Grosvenor, Government of Dubai and Hyatt. She previously worked in marketing and sponsorship within established media brands including Classic FM and the Associated Newspapers titles: Evening Standard, Daily Mail and Metro. She is a Modern Languages graduate from Newcastle University, where she studied French and German.

Chloe Thompson

Ed Tyler

Ed works across Seven Hills' content and marketing activity, taking a leading role on editorial projects across the business. He drafts original, creative content, undertaking in-depth thought leadership and supporting on messaging and brand development. He also works with the wider creative services team on event content curation, providing speechwriting, scripting and written briefings for speakers and helping to oversee production. He has worked across a diverse portfolio of innovation and purpose clients, including Goldman Sachs, Dell Technologies, Hexagon, Brabners, GDST, Here East and Innovate Finance. Ed's work has been featured in national and international outlets, including TIME, The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Forbes, Fast Company, New Statesman and more. Ed developed his passion for campaigning as national director of Jewish youth organisation, FZY. A former broadcast journalist with a Manchester TV network, he graduated with a degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Birmingham and later, an MA in Journalism from the University of Salford. Influenced by his time in journalism, Ed helped to create and later, lead production of Seven Hills' Change Makers podcast, where he oversees the development of the podcast and its output, including audio editing, guest research and liaison, and drafting written content to support interviews.

Eileen Burbidge

Eileen Burbidge is a partner at Passion Capital, an early-stage VC fund based in London. She brings extensive operational experience to her investment activities gleaned from business and product roles at Yahoo!, Skype, Apple and elsewhere. Eileen is Chair of Tech City UK, the government backed organisation supporting digital business across the UK. She also serves on the Prime Minister David Cameron's Business Advisory Group; as HM Treasury's Special Envoy for FinTech, appointed by the Chancellor George Osborne; Tech Ambassador for the Mayor of London Boris Johnson; Patron for Naace, the National Association for Advisors in Computing Education; and advisor to edtechUK and also Cyber London Lab, Europe's first cybersecurity startup accelerator. She was made an MBE for services to UK Business in June 2015 and holds a BSc Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Georgie Clarke

She is also a part of the new business development team, where she works closely with Directors to formulate proposals for prospective clients from initial ideas creation with the wider team, to drafting the proposals working across content, design and presentation. Georgie has worked in the press office at key events such as Strava's annual Year in Sport report launch and the One Young World Summit where global Tier 1 media were in attendance. She holds a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath and gained significant PR experience prior to joining Seven Hills working at public affairs agencies throughout her degree.

Irene Kyme

Irene leads on clients across technology, sustainability and the future of work including Google, Sage, TPXimpact and Academy, handling media strategy, research, events and thought leadership. Highlights for Irene include launching the first government test pilot event post-pandemic with back-to-back coverage across the BBC, as well as running a press office from Munich for the One Young World Summit featuring speakers including Paul Polman and Lewis Hamilton. Irene started her 15 year career as a journalist for Sky News, BBC and Dispatches. She reported undercover for Panorama on the mismanagement of a criminal tagging contract awarded to Serco and her work achieved front page news in the Mail on Sunday as well as BBC online. She was a producer for Sky News' Sunday Live with Adam Boulton programme, as well as Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes. Irene previously worked for Edelman, Teamspirit and Cicero working for brands including Barclays, Deloitte and Standard Life. She has won multiple awards for her content work, setting up TV channels for Barclays and Deloitte, and has travelled around Africa, Europe and the UK covering stories for many different clients.

Isabella Perez

Passionate for high-quality creative content, Isabella supports campaign delivery for each of her accounts with a focus on media relations and content development. She is at the heart of the press office operation advocating for disability inclusion in the workplace through her work with The Valuable 500. Before her time at Seven Hills, Isabella worked as a digital and TV reporter for media companies in Spain and the United States. She wrote reports on the migratory situation in Venezuela and conducted independent research on issues related to asylum legislation and Latin American guerrillas in Colombia and Peru. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Navarra and an MA in International History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Isabella is originally from Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish and English.

Since starting Seven Hills, she has worked closely with One Young World, Village Enterprise and Chen Philanthropy. Issy is passionate about delivering impactful media campaigns for her clients. Prior to Seven Hills, Issy worked as an English as an Additional Language teaching assistant at a high school in her hometown in Yorkshire, working with students new to the UK. In this role she came to understand the importance of communication and the power of language. She holds a first-class honours in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. During her undergraduate degree, Issy studied at Sciences Po and the University of Melbourne.

Jack Isaacs

Jack is a Campaign Executive who works across a range of Seven Hills' innovation and purpose accounts. These include Tech London Advocates, quantum technology company M Squared Lasers, veterans charity Walking With The Wounded and Advertising Week Europe. Before joining Seven Hills, Jack served as National Director of Jewish youth movement, FZY, developing his interest in campaigning. He planned and delivered weekend seminars in the UK and abroad for teenagers and university students, before successfully project managing 600 participants and leaders on a three-week summer tour to Israel. Jack studied Business and Management at Leeds Beckett University, achieving first-class honours. In Leeds, he was secretary of the Jewish society and managed the society's football team. Jack is a football enthusiast, a season ticket holder at Manchester City, following them home and away (even across Europe).

Joseph Willis

Since starting at Seven Hills as an events intern, Joseph has supported on a range of client events, ranging from large scale conferences to report launches and roundtable discussions, including Founders4Schools' flagship event held at Google HQ London. With prior experience in film and videography, Joseph also provides clients with specialist video content support. Prior to Seven Hills, Joseph studied International Management and Spanish at the University of Bath, with a year's placement in Barcelona. Before a writing career, Lauren started out in scientific research; studying Biological Sciences at university and working at several biotechnology companies in the fields of molecular biology, microbiology and immune oncology.

Leigh Marshall

Leigh has been working in public relations for more than 15 years. He specialises in supporting organisations to use communications to achieve their goals, promote their brand and protect their reputation. Through his background in politics and social policy, Leigh brings a deep understanding of the social and political landscape to his approach to communications. At Seven Hills, Leigh focuses on developing and delivering campaigns that enable his clients to achieve their business objectives: whether that's investors raising funds, tech companies scaling-up or third sector organisations reaching philanthropists and corporate partners. During the course of his career, Leigh has supported some of the world's biggest and best-known brands, from adidas and Boeing to the John Lewis Partnership and Spotify. Leigh is an experienced media trainer. He has prepared senior people from business for interviews on some of the country's most high-profile media slots, from the Today Programme to the News at Ten. He has also trained spokespeople for appearances at Parliamentary select committee hearings. Earlier in his career Leigh was Head of Communications at the National Centre for Social Research, an organisation that carries out research used by government to shape social policy in the UK. Before specialising in corporate communications, he worked for a political analysis firm, a Member of Parliament and for one of the UK's oldest think tanks.

Lizzy Batchelor

Lizzy is a Campaign Director working across the innovation and purpose practices. She is at the heart of delivering high impact media campaigns both nationally and internationally. She has worked with the likes of One Young World, the global community for young leaders, innovation and technology campus Here East, and VisionSpring, a social enterprise backed by Mackenzie Scott working to provide affordable glasses and eye screenings globally. Lizzy has experience training clients on how to communicate and engage with media, running training programmes for Generation - a global education non profit - as well as supporting One Young World ambassadors through high profile media briefings. She also has been responsible for running the press offices for large international events including One Young World, Innovate Finance Global Summit and Advertising Week Europe. In addition, Lizzy leads Here East's international engagements at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Lizzy completed a master's degree in Human Geography at the University of Edinburgh.

Lord Karan Bilimoria

In 2004, Karan was appointed a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) for services to business and entrepreneurship. In 2006, he was appointed an independent crossbench peer in the House of Lords and created Baron Bilimoria of Chelsea in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. He was elected as the first BAME President of the Confederation of the British Industry (CBI) in 2020. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young and graduated in law from the University of Cambridge. He is also an alumnus of the Cranfield School of Management, the London Business School and the Harvard Business School. In 2008, Karan was awarded the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman by the President of India. This "Overseas Indian Award" is presented to recognise exceptional achievement by members of the over 25 million strong Indian expatriate community around the world. His other awards include Entrepreneur of the Year from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and an Outstanding Achievement from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Lucy Young

Lucy is an Events Executive at Seven Hills, working within the creative services team. In her role, she supports multiple events across the year for various clients including Innovate Finance, Aon, Dell Technologies and Goldman Sachs. Her most recent events include Ada Lovelace Day at Google HQ with Maths4Girls, FinTech as a Force for Good with Innovate Finance and the launch of Generation Growth with Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. Lucy handles event production and content curation, including the curation of agendas, delegate and speaker acquisition, as well as stakeholder engagement. She is a highly organised creative thinker with a passion for delivering highly informative events for the finance and technology industries. Prior to Seven Hills, Lucy worked as a conference producer for a global media company, delivering collaborative events across the charitable, marketing and cybersecurity sectors. She also has experience with events organisation and stakeholder liaison with party conferences through her time with the Fabian Society. Currently, she volunteers as the Corporate Partnerships Officer with National Student Pride, the UK's largest LGBTQIA+ community organisation for students.

Matic Boh

Matic is Associate Director driving communications and creative campaigns for organisations and businesses across the innovation, start-up and digital economy. He works with investors, industry bodies, fast-growth businesses and not-for-profit organisations - including the fitness platform Strava, UK FinTech's industry body Innovate Finance, and Tech London Advocates - the most influential private sector group in UK tech. Matic is the campaigning lead and works as a strategic consultant on a number of our key retained assignments across the Innovation & Investment Practice. He has a wealth of experience in running high-impact media campaigns, whether it be for a corporate, industry or consumer audience. Notable recent campaigns Matic led on included our work with Strava for the press launch of their partnership with Sport England's This Girl Can campaign, and the Tech London Advocates industry call out to the Prime Minister to deliver the semi-conductor strategy for UK tech. In addition to day-to-day campaigning activity, Matic has also been at heart of the planning and execution of large-scale campaign events - including the Innovate Finance Global Summit, the One Young World Summit and Advertising Week Europe. Matic is also part of the core Seven Hills team responsible for the delivery of new business output for the firm, focused on liaising with new client prospects and delivering strategic communications recommendations. As part of his wider contribution to the Seven Hills team and culture, Matic is a core part of the DE&I Working Group at Seven Hills - driving forward the diversity and inclusion agenda, and liaising with charity partners. Matic studied History at the University of Southampton and completed an MA in US Studies at UCL.

Matthew Pete

He manages client relationships and project timelines, understanding clients' briefs and developing creative proposals and content strategies. Matt project manages and oversees the production and execution of events, overseeing all stakeholders and internal teams.

Matthew Rowlands

Matthew leads in the conception and delivery of issues-based campaigns and strategic communications. He works with organisations spanning the public and private sectors - from founder-led start-ups and top-tier VCs to NGOs and industry bodies - to translate complex, challenging ideas into campaigns that resonate. He has strong experience in deeptech, which includes our work with quantum pioneers M Squared, robotics firm Tharsus, and data specialists WANdisco. He also leads our relationship with One Young World, the global community for young leaders whose annual gathering was described by VICE as "the world's biggest and most impactful youth leadership Summit". Through our work with Innovate Finance, he also led the media programme for the Kalifa Review, the independent strategic review of the UK's Fintech sector. He plays a central role in our MissionLab service, which works with senior leadership teams to equip clients with a new narrative and brand positioning that shapes corporate strategy. His time at Seven Hills included a lengthy secondment in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he built the media profile for the firm's US clients. An experienced former journalist, Matthew was based in Beirut, Lebanon, where he reported for The Associated Press and was a desk editor at The Daily Star - one of the Middle East's leading dailies. Michael is chair and co-founder of Seven Hills. He is also Chair of the Small Business Charter, the award for the UK's world-class business schools, and is a member of the UK Government's Help To Grow: Management Advisory Council. Michael is national Chair of Entrepreneurs at the private bank and wealth manager Coutts. He is Honorary Professor of the Purpose Economy at the University of London where he also holds an honorary doctorate. He is also an Honorary Fellow in Entrepreneurship at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. Michael is Chair of the Advisory Council of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a columnist for CityAM, contributing editor for Country & Town House and a former enterprise columnist for the Daily Telegraph. Michael is a Deputy Lieutenant for Surrey and Vice-President of the Community Foundation for Surrey.

Nadeem Muzaffar

Nadeem is the Head of Design at Seven Hills and is responsible for leading and growing the in-house design studio. He is a creative problem solver, with extensive experience across print and digital mediums and has a passion for elevating brands through outstanding visual design. He would describe himself as a well-rounded, collaborative designer with a sharp eye for detail. Nadeem works very closely with a range of clients across the business building strong brand propositions and delivering high-quality design outputs in different mediums. He is also part of the core MissionLab team working with the senior leadership in building brand strategies, creative concepts, and new narratives. Recent projects Nadeem has worked on include re-branding three sub-divisions for Hexagon, launching a new website for Universal wolf, and designing a new report for Beamery. Nadeem brings 20 years of industry experience as an independent designer and Design Director, helping build and develop brands, engage audiences, and influence consumer behaviour through intelligent, integrated communications that get results. With a degree in Graphic Information Design, conceptual development, design, and UX are embedded into his creative thought process.

Nick Giles - Founder
