Binomica Labs is a small biology research group located in New York City, founded by amateur researchers exploring an alternative to the exposure-driven, marketing-centric culture seen among existing communities and initiatives involving amateur and nontraditional researchers... As an organization, we believe in the potential of the amateur and nontraditional sciences to be a meaningful path toward independent scientific inquiries, capable of contributing to the collective knowledge of our society... We support the idea of scientific research as an inherently collaborative and continuous process toward a more accurate vision of truth. Its nature mandates good faith communication of research and feedback among the researchers, made possible through universal access to research and their processes and acknowledging previous bodies of study in detail whenever possible.
