The Fromages de Terroirs Association's aim is to give the chance of makers and retailers to educate the general public and the cheese industry. Ten years ago, the Association launched the Cheese National Day which takes place every year at spring time and published six years ago the From'Girls Calendar (From'Girls sexy calendar), a provocative dairymaids which inform the public of the vital need to protect what is left of the unique national heritage of French cheese, and to promote life's pleasures (From'Girls glamour calendar). It now has more than 500 sponsors including Michelin starred and traditional chefs, journalists, cheese producers, many cheese retailers and gourmets..... Haute-Savoie produced several thousand tons per year of Reblochon, a French cheese. La Clusaz (Haute-Savoie) is the birthplace of Reblochon, 3,000 tons are produced every year in twenty farms.
