HCN

HCN exists to help optimise health innovation value chains by connecting hard sciences, industry, clinical practice and patient advocacy. HCN is in its 3rd iteration. It started as an INTERREG IIIC network operation in 2005, became a UK registered (non-profit) company in 2008 and is now a Stichting registered with the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce... Our approach can be summarised as helping to close the gap between what we know and what we need to do by generating practical ‘how-to' knowledge in all our workstreams. This is shaped by 5 guiding principles to create value over time: connectivity, pluralism, innovation, resilience and added value. To achieve this, we have worked with people at all levels from a government minister to community groups, from comprehensive cancer centres to SME owners and from senior decision-makers to students... We are commissioned to co-write proposals to secure major research funding (H2020, CRUK Grand Challenge, EU Health Programme, INTERREG etc.)..
