LYDE

Established in 2013 by dance artist Erica Borges to provide to young people the opportunity to experience dance in a context that values the individual. Embracing all cultures and backgrounds, Laois Youth Dance Ensemble is Laois's first contemporary dance company. By encouraging self-expression and participation of members into creative dance process, the mission of LYDE is to develop and create new dance works for performance to nurture an intelligent appreciation of dance as art form. We are proud to be funded by Arts Council Ireland and thankful for the support of Dunamaise Arts Centre & Laois Arts Office
