Vortex Power Systems is a revolutionary technology, converting low grade waste heat into clean electricity by generating and harnessing the power of an atmospheric vortex... Our origins come from research undertaken by Professor Richard Flay and Neil Hawkes at the University of Auckland, investigating how dust devil's and other vortices form in nature. After analyzing data from an old NASA experiment, our founders realized that if we provide the right set of conditions we can re-create this phenomena and thus Vortex Power Systems was born... Over a decade ago, the idea that is at the heart of Vortex Power Systems of generating carbon-free electricity from a vortex was just that-an idea.
