Amanda has held the role of Chief Executive since 2004. Amanda is a qualified accountant and has an MBA from Cardiff University. Prior to working for Pobl she was the Finance Director of a large housing and care provider in Berkshire. In her early career Amanda has also worked in banking, transport and manufacturing. Amanda's particular areas of business interest include community regeneration, decarbonisation, governance and organisation culture. In terms of non-executive roles, she is a co-opted member of the Group Board, she currently holds the position of Vice Chair of the Economic Strategy Board for the Swansea Bay City Deal, she is a member of the Marie Curie Advisory Board for Wales and also a member of Glas Cymru.

Amarjit Atkar

Amarjit is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an experienced professional in risk management, finance, governance, control and assurance frameworks and has worked in private, public sector and international NGOs. He has held senior management roles in a number of organisations including the role of Chief Risk Officer at the Ministry of Defence. Amarjit is currently an independent member of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee at the Department of Transport and previously was a Board member at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Andrew Vye

Andrew has worked across the Public and Third Sector Housing Sectors in Wales for the last 25 years in a variety of roles including Housing management, Homelessness, Care and Support and Regeneration. Andrew is a part of the executive team at Pobl and is responsible for teams delivering housing and repair services to customers across South Wales including Students, Social Renters, Private renters and Owners. He is also responsible for our Care and Support service providing Local Authority and Health Service commissioned care and support to 1000s of individuals across Wales. Andrew has worked at Pobl since its creation in 2016 and has been part of a team that has successfully merged a number of organisations to create the largest Housing Association and Care and Support businesses in Wales. Andrew is committed to using this scale to deliver more affordable homes and high quality, person centred, locally focused services that are connected to our local communities. Andrew is a board member of Community Housing Cymru - the representative trade body for Housing Associations in Wales and is also a Trustee of Care and Repair Cymru, a national charitable body focused on championing the needs of older people living in owner occupied accommodation in Wales.

Gaynor Morris

Gaynor joined the Pobl group in June 2013. She is a qualified CIPD professional with over 30 years' experience across several sectors, namely pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and recycling industries. She also holds a master's degree in Human Resources development and a master's degree in Cognitive Behavioural therapy. Gaynor's role at Pobl covers all our people services including talent attraction, talent development, Human Resources, people systems, along with organisational development. Gaynor is passionate about our people and has a special interest in talent development and colleague experience, all with a drive to developing our great culture of difference makers. Her understanding of people and the psychology of organisations has helped to create a culture that is positive, connected and considerate.

Gerwyn has over 20 years' experience of working in the construction industry, focussing on Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying and Project Management. Gerwyn's current role is Senior Commercial Manager at Willmott Dixon Construction which involves feasibility, cost planning and control, core measurement and post contract administration. It also involves the procurement, negotiation and preparation of construction contracts. Gerwyn is an avid rugby fan and enjoys coaching and playing. Gerwyn is an Independent Member of the Pobl Investment Committee.

Jamaila Hussain

Jamaila is currently Corporate Director of Adult Social Services and Integration, for the City of York Council. She is part of the senior management and leads on the delivery of all adult social care assessment, in house provider and external services as well as ensuring a programme on integration with health, housing, and community providers. Jamaila has vast experience in transformation and large-scale change, she has over 28 years' experience across the health and social care sector and worked at a national level to redesign social work training and education as well as the National Commissioning Academy. As Chair of the York Communities Board Jamaila works closely with housing colleagues and the third sector to deliver a whole programme of supporting families with good housing provision, digitalisation, reducing poverty as well as ensuring good partnerships that support integration.

She is also the Group Company Secretary. Lisa has been a qualified accountant for over 25 years and has an MA in Leadership and Management. With a professional background in Housing, Education and Manufacturing Lisa champions value for money, organisational effectiveness and how technology can be used to deliver improved service delivery. Lisa is co-opted as an Executive Director of the Group Board.

Neil Barber

Neil has been a Chartered Surveyor for nearly 30 years. During that period he has played a key role in a team which has consistently delivered the largest RSL development and sales programme in Wales. The Property and Investment Team was formed in April 2022 and brings together Pobl's new home development activity with the asset management of our existing homes. This provides a golden thread through the complete asset lifecycle of our homes.

Wendy Bourton

Wendy is passionate about social justice and has spent much of her professional career addressing the challenges of housing in an ageing and diverse society. She was involved in the Care & Repair movement from its inception in Wales; as Chief Executive of Care & Repair Cymru for 15 years she led the growth and expansion of the agency services. Wendy has been a Non-Executive of Housing associations for several decades, this included being Chair of UWHA, time on a community HA and on a stock transfer. Wendy's expertise and experience has been recognised through numerous Public Appointments including Chair of the Ministerial Advisory and as Non-Executive Member of three Health Boards. She also spent 12 years being an Independent Assessor for Public Appointments. Wendy has enjoyed a life of being involved in the public and third sector and with people in communities. Wendy was awarded the OBE for Services to the Community in Wales in 2006.
