Brandon Flora - CFO

Focus: My role is focused on reporting and communicating the company's financial performance, partnering with other teams to forecast future performance, and analyzing data that will drive business decisions and actions. I am passionate about repeatable business processes, data quality, and data visualization to improve efficiency. Experience: I have worked for several leading private equity and publicly-traded software and technology companies with operating experience in financial planning and analysis, strategy, business operations, sales operations, and go-to-market execution. Prior to Kibo, I was the VP of Strategic Programs at Stack Sports and the Director of Strategic Programs at Omnitracs. I have a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Virginia Tech and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Focus: My role at Kibo is centered around attracting and retaining top talent, providing an outstanding employee experience that drives business outcomes and cultivating culture. I am passionate about scaling people programs and fostering an inclusive culture where we can all be our best selves, learn and grow. Experience: I've spent most of my career in human resources for technology companies, leading through IPO, M&A and high impact transitions. Prior to Kibo, I was the head of people & culture at Aceable, and led the business partner teams and global learning & development teams at Stitch Fix and RetailMeNot, respectively. I hold certifications as a SPHR (Senior Professional of Human Resources) and CPLP (Certified Professional of Learning & Performance). I have a bachelor's degree in communications with a business certification from the University of Texas, and a master's degree in management from Harvard University.

Ram Venkataraman - CEO

I have always viewed leadership through the lenses of growing and ensuring the well-being of the individual and the team. I am passionate about serving our employees, customers, and partners to profitably grow our business. Experience: I have spent more than 25 years of my career working in software companies that range from bootstrapped startups to public companies. I have held senior executive positions for more than a decade driving product and technology functions. Prior to Kibo, I was at NCR where I was the CTO of the NCR payment platforms. I have a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Sachin Sharma

Job Titles:
  • Chief Product Officer & Head of Professional Services
Focus: In my role at Kibo, I lead the Product (product strategy, product management, UX/design, documentation) and Professional Services (implementations, product enablement, partner enablement) functions. From the Product perspective, I'm driven by figuring out how Kibo can best innovate and package its capabilities to drive meaningful competitive differentiation in order to drive additional value for current clients and earn the business of future clients. From the Professional Services perspective, I spend my time working on partnering with Kibo's network of trusted system integrator partners to ensure our new clients have a delightful implementation and onboarding experience and providing enablement directly to clients to help them realize the full potential of Kibo's products relative to unlocking their business goals. Experience: I started my career in strategy consulting at Stax, in which I helped advise private equity firms on the attractiveness of their acquisition opportunities. After that, I joined Vista Equity Partners' operating arm (VCG) for three years, where I worked with executive teams across Vista's portfolio to help them increase GTM effectiveness, operate more efficiently, and prioritize their organic and M&A growth opportunities. From VCG, I joined Kibo as the DSP, during which time I helped to create and execute on Kibo's growth strategy. I graduated from the University of Chicago with an A.B. in economics and philosophy.

Thom Phipps - CTO

Focus: My focus at Kibo is around driving technical excellence and innovation across the platform, in order to enable the company's partners and customers to meet their business goals effectively and efficiently. I'm passionate about serving the engineering and operations teams to develop and perform to the highest of their abilities. Experience: I have more than 20 years of experience in Commerce. At Dell, I led global development teams and built high-scale content management, search/discover, and analytics capabilities. At Volusion, I supported multiple teams working on their consumer e-commerce product. Later, I led the creation of Volusion's medium and large business omnichannel commerce offering, Mozu.
