WILL SMITH DESIGN BUILD

My interest in the outdoors started at an early age and lead to receiving a degree in Landscape Architecture. That interest turned into a 25 year career with a residential design build company in the Washington DC area. During those years my knowledge as a Landscape Architect was honed designing spaces to reflect clients tastes, compliment surrounding architecture, and managing installations that used sound construction methods... Residential construction was a family business that provided on-the-job training during summers in high school and college. My admiration for architecture developed into a study of design, balance, scale, and proportion that became an integral element in designing landscapes. As my knowledge grew I began to merge landscape and architecture into a whole. First designing simple structures like pergola's and then more complex designs such as pool houses, residential additions and renovations.
