I am a well versed mechanical engineer whose work has ranged from products designed for the consumer market to one-off aerospace flight test systems for DARPA programs. I am working for an electric vehicle startup that is applying modern EV architecture to boats. I am leading two product development efforts there: the traction battery, and the high-power connector. These two products are part of a large modular boating system incorporating the work of an interdisciplinary team including mechanical, electrical, software, and industrial design. Both products are designed for the consumer boating market. Prior to this, I spent 6 years working in aerospace on projects ranging from a supporting role in the design and manufacture of electromechanical actuators for missiles to leading the design and development of rockets to lift UAVs into flight...
