Fox Board Fellow Abhishek Srivastava says he is looking forward to understanding the decision making process behind nonprofit strategic initiatives at SquashSmarts, a no-cost after school development program for Philadelphia public school students. He is currently pursuing his full-time MBA and previously completed his bachelor of technology degree in information technology. Abhishek has over eight years of experience in healthcare analytics, process control in business operations, government city-based data modeling projects and business development strategy. Fun fact: Abhishek is a trained yellow belt in Taekwondo and enjoys roller skating in his free time.

Alan Kerzner is a proven business leader whose focus now surrounds enhancing the performance of students, executives and businesses in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship. Alan currently serves as the Director of the Temple University Entrepreneurship Academy (TUEA).
During a thirty-five year marketing and management career, Alan held positions at Fortune 100 companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble and launched several successful start-ups. During these experiences, he won numerous awards for outstanding recruiting and training.
Always focused on the development of individuals, teams and organizations during his business career, Mr. Kerzner then took this commitment to the university and executive education areas. He is engaged at/as:
The Wharton School in their Global Consulting Practicum and the Aresty Institute for Executive Education;
Adjunct Professor at the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Services;
Visiting instructor in Australia's leading MBA program
Director of the Temple University Entrepreneurship Academy
As Founder and CEO of the Institute for Global Student Success, Mr. Kerzner developed an innovative program that has been shown to enhance international students' performance academically, socially and professionally. Nine out of every ten students Alan works with get paid internships and/or jobs in the United States at firms such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, the Big 4, Disney, Amazon, Marriott etc. He has conducted training sessions at several leading American universities as well Xiamen University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Nanjing Audit University and the International Education Institute of Vietnam National University.
Mr. Kerzner received an MBA from the Wharton School with Honors and received a BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Rochester where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Highest Distinction in each discipline and Phi Beta Kappa.

Alex Cummings is an Assistant Program Director at the Center for Executive Education in the Fox School of Business at Temple University. In this role he is responsible for the design, delivery, and execution of custom corporate education and Temple-led executive training programs. Alex brings project and program management expertise from his previous experience as an Operations Officer in the United States Army, where he designed, delivered, and executed training events in support of domestic and international military operations. In 2021, Alex was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his excellence in teaching leadership, management, and operational strategy fundamentals to junior military leaders.
He holds an MBA from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In addition to Alex is a graduate of the US Army Basic Officer Leadership Course, US Army Flight School XXI, The US Army Aviation Captain's Career Course, The US Army Basic Instructor Course, and the US Army Master Resiliency Course. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his fiancée Leah and his dog Zora
Fox Board Fellow Alexandra Cole says she cannot wait to work with the Clean Air Council to understand how the environmental nonprofit is supporting the local community. A graduate of Penn State, Alexandra majored in finance with a minor in French and Francophone studies. She has worked at JPMorgan for the past seven years in its Delaware and London offices where she is currently focused on commitment to sustainability and climate-related risks. Fun fact: Alexandra's love of travel and experiencing new cultures has taken her to more than 50 countries.

Joining the Fox School's faculty in 2010, Andrew Allmond received his BA from Syracuse University and his MS from Temple University's School of Media and Communication.
He received a Fox Crystal Apple Award, in 2010, for classroom excellence, and a Dean's Teaching Fellowship, in 2014, for consistently demonstrating classroom innovation. Mr. Allmond's previous professional experience is in a variety of roles, including assistant editor and copywriter of print communications for the TU College of Education's Office of Institutional Advancement, online media editor for Farlex, Inc., associate underwriter working with professional liability insurance for RLI Corp., and assistant to the director of Fox's Business Communications Center. He published work in The Educator, Philadelphia magazine, Philadelphia Home magazine, and Wine & Spirits Quarterly.

Dr. Aleksi Aaltonen is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems. He has over twenty years of experience in digital innovation as a management scholar and successful entrepreneur. He joined the Fox School from Warwick Business School, United Kingdom.
Dr. Aaltonen uses quantitative, qualitative and computational methods to study data-based innovation and organizing; his research has been published in top academic journals such as Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Organization Studies, and Journal of Information Technology.
Before academia, Dr. Aaltonen worked for private and nonprofit sectors designing, building and managing digital services for organizations such as Nokia, and the Crisis Management Initiative founded by the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former President of Finland Martti Ahtisaari. In 2012, he cofounded and helped to raise 1.7 million euros funding for an activity tracking app Moves. Apple chose Moves as the Best App of 2013 in the Fitness Revolution category, and the company was acquired by Facebook in April 2014.

Dwight Carey started his first business immediately after receiving his undergraduate degree over 55 years ago and founding and running 17 national and international corporations, LLCs and partnerships. Those companies are in service, engineering, robotics, support systems and factory automation industries. One of these companies, American Productivity Group, LLC, Prof. Carey is its Managing Member and President, is a joint venture with Samsung Electronics Corp.
In addition to founding and running companies he sits on domestic and international boards and was a member of the Committee for Monetary Research and Education and an active member of the von Mises Institute at Auburn University, His graduate studies have been both in the Harvard Business School's Case Study Program and is a former member of the James Madison Society at Princeton University. He has been awarded the Congressional Business Man of the Year for 2003, 04, 05 and 06, 2005 winner of the Ronald Reagan Gold Medal for Outstanding Business Leadership, winner of the Congressional Order of Merit, twice awarded the medals for Business Leadership, awarded the Technology Partner Award by Specialty Publishing for co-developing a new robotic control system and in 2013 listed by 3DStartups as one of the top 25 Entrepreneurial Educators in the world. His writings appear in magazines, book reviews and book chapters and has published five Primases that are used as course text books. Currently one of the Boards that he sits on and is its pro-tem CEO is CardioCorp, LLC. a Boston Based medical device company involved with the creation of a new surgically inserted heart artery pumping system. Its goal is save the lives of persons who are going into cardiac arrest. Another is Mali Traders, Inc. a Mali, West African rice enrichment, procurement, packaging and distribution company. Another is Biomaterix, LLC. a Ovarian Cancer Menstrual blood test device. Another SONTEFA Energy, LLC. chosen as one of the top 50 Entrepreneurs in Africa. All four were created/invented and run by his former students. They are among hundreds of ventures that were founded and run by his former students.
At Temple University, Prof. Carey teaches in the Engineering School and the Fox School of Business, both undergraduate and graduate courses and mentorships. He was presented The Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching and the Andrisani-Frank Award for Outstanding Teaching, He sat on the Board of Advisors for the Innovation and Enterprise Consultum, the Writing Intensive and various other committees. He was chosen to create and coach the CIBER International Business Plan Completion at Ohio State University. His coached students have won more than 88 1st, 2nd and Grand Prize competitions with financial awards totaling more than one million dollars. Has taught 127 courses at Temple. (includes 4 courses for the Fall 2019 semester.) In 2018 a student award was created in his honor "The Dwight Carey Award for Superior Student Involvement".

TL Hill is Professor of Strategic Management at Temple University's Fox School of Business. He serves as Managing Director of both the Translational Research Center and Fox Management Consulting. TL teaches highly experiential classes, including the MBA capstone, featuring live client projects (501 projects and counting!), the Fox Board Fellows nonprofit governance class, and community and executive education workshops. TL conducts theory-focused research on organization design and governance, social legitimacy and political risk and social networks in innovation, while also working on action research focused on experiential education, social impact, and the management of social ventures. TL is co-author of more than 35 peer-reviewed publications and commissioned reports and serves on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Review.
