Farm Shop and Restaurant based in South Birmingham. Combining over 80 years of hard work and shared family knowledge, a visit to Becketts Farm is a must!... It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our company Chairman, Alan M. Beckett (MBE, NSch) on Sunday 18th February following a short illness, aged 93. Alan took over the Beckett family business from his father in 1963 moving the farm away from dairy and very successfully into poultry farming. It was Alan who created both the limited company and established the very first Farm Shop here at Becketts Farm. Alan led the company as Managing Director until 1995, upon which he became company Chairman and has remained a cornerstone in the business and our community until..... Becketts have been farming in Wythall, just south of Birmingham for 80 years. Our mission is to bring both fresh food and farming closer to the people.
