Since 2017, Adam has been responsible for the operational delivery of the organisation's services. These include, liaising with aviation providers, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence.
In addition to this role, Adam is qualified as a Critical Care Paramedic, allowing him to support our crews on the frontline.
He first registered as a paramedic in 2005 and spent more than eight years with the London Ambulance Service, progressing from a Technician to Duty Station Officer.
Amanda has been CEO since October 2016, leading the charity through the transition to becoming an independent health care provider.
After graduating from Oxford University with a degree in law, she began her career in the third-sector working for Action for Children before helping to start a leadership development charity, Windsor Leadership.
An experienced charity leader, she has since led World Cancer Research Fund UK, the Institute of Fundraising and Prostate UK.
Amanda lives in Berkshire with her husband and two teenage children.

- Aerosystems Engineer Officer
Chris is an Aerosystems Engineer Officer in the Royal Air Force with over a decade of experience in the helicopter aviation sector. He has completed a wide variety of roles from Head of Engineering for a large multi-type helicopter fleet to contract negotiations and strategic planning. Chris is also a Chartered Engineer who's vast operational and aviation skill set will provide valuable oversight to Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Having an extensive global brand development background in health and wellness brands Claire brings a wealth of experience in brand development and guardianship along with integrated campaign development. She worked on the initial branding of London's Air Ambulance gaining good insight into the vital role that air ambulances provide.
David is a qualified paramedic and is familiar with digital healthcare, clinical informatics, mental health of workforce and stroke care. He brings a wealth of skills to Thames Valley Air Ambulance, with experience in organisation governance as well as strategic and operational clinical development.
Jon joined as Director of Finance in October 2019 and is responsible for the Finance, IT and Facilities functions.
He was previously Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at the Royal British Legion, building and leading a team of business partners to support the charity with strategic financial advice and support.
Jon is passionate about the charity sector and brings broad finance experience to the organisation, having also worked in a variety of roles at the British Council and Unicef UK. He qualified as an ACA chartered accountant while at the National Audit Office.
Jon lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife and two young children.

Lesley is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in General Practice and senior leader in an independent healthcare provider. Within this role, she is the Executive lead for safeguarding with a responsibility for governance and quality at all levels of the business. Furthermore, she was previously a CQC specialist advisor. Through her experiences she has a recognised and proven track record of implementing and monitoring governance frameworks within healthcare providers.

The whole team have been welcoming and supportive, and I have settled in really quickly. I love working for such a great and worthwhile charity - the work that Thames Valley Air Ambulance do is really inspiring and I learn something new every day! The best part of my job is going out to events in the community, meeting our volunteers and supporters and hearing all about the fundraising events they are organising and why they support us.
Rick's areas of expertise include operational excellence, operating model development, strategy development and execution, risk management and aviation operations. His skills have benefited Thames Valley Air Ambulance with the integration of the new operating model and with the alignment of future strategy.
Sarah began her career in marketing and branding initially in the healthcare sector and then the charity sector. More recently, she's been involved in governance as a trustee and then progressed to Chair at Pancreatic Cancer UK. Her roles at a senior leadership level within the charity sector have provided her with the appropriate governance, strategic development, marketing and fundraising skills that she can use to best effect leading the Board of Trustees at Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

Vijay is Assistant Director of Policy & Strategic Partnerships at the National Emergencies Trust, a charity set up to raise funds and support people affected by national emergencies in the UK. He was previously Head of Fundraising Strategy at the British Red Cross and has worked in the charity sector for over 12 years, with experience also in public affairs, research and risk management. He lives in Buckinghamshire, usually chasing after his two young children.
