Q20 EVENTS - Key Persons
As joint-founder of Q20 Theatre and Q20 Events, Jacqueline has been responsible for much of its distinctive creativity: designing and creating spectacular costumes and leading many of our signature art and craft workshops. Jacquie has a high level of skill in many craft disciplines, including patchwork, jewellery-making, willow work and creating stained glass.
Her appearances as Dotty (of Q20's Christmas-themed Victorian carol-singing duo "Dizzy and Dotty") continue to captivate audiences with her wit and humour.
Founder of Q20 Theatre and Q20 Events, John is an actor, performer and creative director for the company. He maintains a hands on approach to the running of Q20, and also its home, Dockfield Road Creative Arts Hub. The building was launched to provide a HQ for local artists and craftworkers, and now runs as a successful community of creativity. In 2014, John was responsible for the creation of the annual Arts Council England- and Bradford Council-funded Shipley Street Arts Festival.
John has been inspirational in bringing the street theatre concept to events within the retail sector, enabling shopping centres to use arts performance as a highly successful marketing tool.
He continues to regularly appear as a Dumbledore lookalike, the Mad Hatter and his internationally-acclaimed Manjy the Clown.
