Anne Vanderhoof

Anne leads our staff as an experienced business manager and a lifelong animal lover! Before joining the team at CAH, she spent more than 2 decades working with guide and service dog organizations, most recently as a Regional Training Manager for Southeastern Guide Dogs. Anne is passionate about working dogs, training, animal behavior and Great Dane rescue. Outside of work and dog training, she enjoys theme parks, motorcycling and game nights with friends. Her family includes a Black Labrador named DustOff, 2 adopted Great Danes named Basie and Chloe, a Great Dane foster dog or two, and a mischief of sweet rats.

Dr. Kim Bishop

Dr. Kim Bishop is a 2012 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced for seven years in Charlotte, North Carolina and moved to Florida in 2019 with her husband, Nate, and daughter, Lizzy. Her family pets include 2 Dachshunds (Dexter and Fiona), a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Archer), and a cat (Hodgins). She enjoys working with all companion animals, but she especially loves kitties. She also has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Bishop enjoys managing a discussion group for veterinary moms, playing board games with friends and family, visiting Disney World and the beach.

Dr. Lauren Kennedy

Dr. Lauren Kennedy is a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys working with all companion animals, including dogs, cats, and small pocket pets. Dr. Kennedy's favorite part of her job is building relationships with her clients and their pets! Dr. Kennedy recently moved to Florida with her husband Eli and daughter Grace. They welcomed their second baby girl, Cecilia, in the summer of 2017. Other family members include 3 dogs, MacGovern (a Scottie), Crosby (a scruffy mutt), and Clementine (a blue tick coon hound). And last but not least, the 12-year-old eastern painted turtle, Tycho. While away from work Dr. Kennedy loves spending time with her girls, reading, visiting Disney World and the beach.

Elizabeth Chosa

Dr. Chosa was born and raised in Johnson City, TN. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia & her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. She served on active duty in the the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps for 5 years. After her honorable discharge in 2010, she moved to Brevard County and worked as an associate veterinarian before purchasing Courtenay Animal Hospital in March 2012. As practice owner, Dr. Chosa's focus is ensuring that all patients receive the highest possible level of medical care in a nurturing environment. She emphasizes preventive care & maintaining wellness as the best way to keep patients healthy and happy. When Dr. Chosa is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her two dogs, Buddy, her beloved mixed-breed rescue dog and Pizza, a senior Boston Terrier rescued in 2019, and two senior guinea pigs named Pancake and Syrup.

Sarah Dobin

Dr. Dobin obtained her undergraduate degree and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois. She practiced at a small animal practice in Muscatine, Iowa for two years before joining the team at CAH. During that time, she also worked at the local Humane Society and provided equine veterinary care on Mackinac Island, MI part time. She enjoys small animal and exotic medicine and surgery; she is up for any challenge in almost any species! While not working, Dr. Dobin loves hanging out with her pets Malcolm (border collie/lab mutt), Denali (cat), and Sabi (snake). She enjoys running, practicing yoga, playing bored games, and traveling.
