DENTAL COOPERATIVE - Key Persons
In 1999 Andrew was hired by the Dental Cooperative as Vice President during its early formation. Since then, his responsibilities and duties have touched on all aspects of company growth and development. He has played a key role in negotiating purchasing contracts with third party vendors, facilitating practice transitions and creating the Co-Op's "Dental Benefit Program." In addition, Andrew leads the company's fee maximization efforts using the messenger model approach with partnering dental insurance carriers and umbrella groups. Doing so has produced enhanced fee schedules available to Co-Op members.
In the spring of 2012, Andrew was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and directs all operational aspects of the Dental Cooperative.

In May of 2018 Camille joined the Dental Cooperative and is excited to continue growing the merchant services division that empowers members to enjoy substantial savings on their credit card processing. Her primary role is adding value to the Dental Cooperative membership with superior pricing, technology, and service.
Camille has spent the last 20 years in the financial technology industry and has vast knowledge in the merchant service sector. Her experience ranges from open loop and closed loop prepaid products, to credit card processing, POS equipment, Chargebacks, Fraud Prevention and everything in between.

Erica coordinates the insurance fee maximization efforts for the Cooperative and works with our members and insurance partners to help our dentists get the most out of their insurance relationships. Erica previously worked at Guardian for 13 years, most recently as their Network Provider Relation Representative, helping dental offices nationwide to review and analyze fee schedules and to assist offices with credentialing and claims. Erica joined the Cooperative team in June of 2019.
Erica is married with one daughter and three sons. She enjoys being a "Nana" to her granddaughter, and looks forward to more on the way. In the summer you can find her out on ATV's and in the winter, on the slopes.

Mr. Berrett is the retired (1992) managing partner of Ernst & Young's consulting practice in the intermountain west. He joined the firm's San Francisco office in 1970 and opened its Salt Lake City office in 1976. He is the founder and managing partner of the Executive Alliance Group, an international economic development consulting firm, representing U. S. and foreign state economic development agencies. Much of his consulting specialized in the Health Care field where he has been recognized for his direction of sensitive management evaluations of public and private organizations, including extensive evaluations of the Utah and Arizona Medicaid operations and systems. He has conducted numerous feasibility, cost, system and marketing studies for some of the largest health care and dental provider groups in the western U.S., and his engagements have included those relating to the acquisition and consolidation of physician groups. Marlon's experience with the "Cooperative" business form includes having served as a consultant restructuring the largest fruit and agricultural cooperative in the U.S. He was a consultant to the original association of independent dentists who founded the Dental Co-Op and has served as its president since its inception.
Marlon is a history buff, speaks fluent German, has served on the advisory boards to the Schools of Accountancy at both Utah State University (11 years) and Brigham Young University where he also served on the Adjunct Faculty for 13 years. With his wife, Lynn, Marlon enjoys keeping up with the activities of their 17 grandchilden.
Mr. Silva was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Dental Services,Inc. ("Western Dental"), the largest dental practice management group in the U.S.,from 1994 to 1996. At the time Mr. Silva was hired by Western Dental as interim CEO (through an agreement with the California Department of Health Services and the company), the company was under sanction by the State of California for severe practice quality violations and improper billing procedures. During his tenure,Mr. Silva rebuilt the company's management team and imposed practice quality and financial controls.
Prior to working for Western Dental, Mr. Silva led a group of strategic consultants to the Board of Directors of TriValley Growers, the largest food cooperative in the U.S. Over a seven-year period, Mr. Silva restructured the company, including the replacement of the existing CEO and management team with a new president and management structure.
Mr. Silva's prior health care experience includes leading the 1986 acquisition of Americare, the predecessor of Foundation Health Systems, and the replacement of the existing management team with a new executive structure. Foundation is now one of the top HMOs in the country.
Nicole brings over 12 years experience in HR and group benefits. She is dedicated to helping members choose and implement health insurance benefit options which enrich the lives and working environments of themselves and their valuable employees. Nicole is married with 2 kids. She loves being a mom and experiencing new things with her family!

Rio brings nearly 20 years of experience in sales and marketing to the Dental Cooperative. Specializing in account management, Rio has represented a variety of family owned companies across many different industries. His passion is helping small companies compete in today's corporate climate by providing them with the right solutions for their unique business. He lives in Albuquerque and is proud to represent the Co-Op in New Mexico and West Texas. Rio is a great dad and takes pride in raising his two daughters. He likes running, hiking, hot yoga, and snowboarding. He's also an excellent cook and is happy to share his favorite recipes with you!
Teresa has worked in the dental industry since 1998. She loves this industry and understands what it takes to maintain a successful dental practice. She works tirelessly to help dentists set up the business side of their practice where her expertise and experience in these areas are an asset to her members. Her dedication, along with her expertise in dental practice management, has helped her bring the benefits of the Dental Cooperative to many dentists throughout Idaho.
In her spare time, Teresa enjoys getting away with her family in the mountains, riding their ATV, fishing and camping. During the summer months, she also enjoys working in the yard and garden. Teresa and her husband, Mike, have 2 children and 3 grandchildren whom they adore and love spending time with every chance they get.
