Dedicated to helping his clients establish solid investment foundations for financial stability and security, Derrick Lee-Shanok is the principal Financial Advisor of Ability Private Client Group. Derrick started in the financial industry in 1998 with TD Canada Trust before branching out and starting his own private client group in 2008, focusing on disability-related financial planning. His interest in supporting the disability sector began with the support of family members diagnosed with Autism. It further grew as he realized the unique needs and specialized financial planning required to secure the future of a person diagnosed with a disability. Derrick is a member of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada as well as a Life Insurance Advisor and Certified Portfolio Engineer.

Erin Blair is a Certified Financial Planner who started her career in the financial industry in 2009 out of Queens University. She began working for a large wealth management firm modelling and trading managed accounts while getting certified to be an advisor herself. She transition her focus to insurance in 2017 and now works exclusively with clients to provide education and long term accessible insurance for families.

Involved in the financial management business since 2008, Margareth Lee-Shanok began her career assisting with daily operations at a wealth management firm and serving as an administrative assistant to financial advisors.
Margareth majored in Commerce and Finance at the University of Toronto and is a licensed mutual fund manager/trader who has completed the IFSE Institute's Training Program for Mutual Fund Dealing Representatives. She enjoys running and spending time with her son and two pets.
