Alex Tull

Alex is a local firefighter and paramedic for Northern Lakes Fire District. He has worked as a volunteer firefighter in Spokane and N. Idaho over the last 20 years. He took off a few years after joining the United States Navy where he served as a combat medic in the United States Marine Corps where he made 3 combat deployments. After being discharged he moved back to the N. Idaho area and has since made Hayden his home. He is an active member of his fire department and is fervent about progress and learning his craft. Alex met and married his wife Ashly and they have two daughters. In his free time, Alex enjoys woodworking and building just about anything. His number one hobby and commitment is to spending time with his family.

Colleen Kolobow

Colleen Kolobow is a local business owner and mother of three. She specializes in business operations and works with entrepreneurs and nonprofits, bringing clarity, order, and prosperity to their organizations. Colleen has extensive experience in finances and project management - assisting groups and individuals with bringing visions to fruition. Colleen has a passion for education and holistic child formation, seeing it as one of the most significant ways to impact a community and set children up for life long success. Her interest in education, and the various models, took off while homeschooling her own children and she is happy to help serve, through assisting groups that are responding to the educational needs of our growing community. A native of the DC area, she has been in Idaho for over ten years. After living in Boise, Colleen spent several years homesteading and homeschooling in Sandpoint before making downtown CDA home. Outside of work, Colleen can be found with her children, volunteering with groups in the community, and getting as much time outside as possible.

Jason Ball

Jason Ball is an innovator and visionary leader who injects a culture of creativity, collaboration and service within organizations. Mr. Ball serves as a volunteer for a Citizen's Review Panel called "Keeping Children Safe" for the Department of Health & Welfare. Jason identifies needs in his community, as evidenced by his founding work with Jumpin' Beans Mobile Food Bank, and Hayden Lake Marathon. Mr. Ball has a penchant for mentoring youth. He currently volunteers as a cross country running coach, and serves as the Chairman of the Old Missions District Eagle Scout Committee. Jason has enjoyed working in Public Relations roles for over 20 years. He has five children who have been brought up in an environment of kindness and service to others.

Josh Fletcher

Josh is an active member of the North Idaho community. He currently works in medical sales after a long career in education. His background in working in professional development for teachers in the k-12 market, along with curriculum development in higher education, make him a valuable member to the HCC Board. When not working, Josh enjoys his time being a father to two amazing kids and enjoying anything outdoors related.

Joshua Dahlstrom

Joshua is a successful businessman who owns a marketing agency focused on digital marketing and business coaching. He is passionate about helping others achieve success in life and in business. Joshua has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for over 15 years, and currently serves as the Unit Organization Rep for HCC Sponsored Troops 360B and 360G. He enjoys sharing sharing his love of the outdoors and expeditionary learning with both troops. Joshua and his wife have 4 creative children who love art, music and exploring the outdoors. They enjoy many family adventures that include Camping, Snowboarding, Kayaking, and Paintballing. Most recently they added Open Water Scuba Diving to their list of family activities.

Ryan Crandall - Chairman

Ryan Crandall is an attorney and estate planner with a passion for helping individuals and families prepare for the future. Ryan believes that one of the primary roles of a lawyer is to be an educator and counselor. He works hard to discover his clients' goals and to explain, in easy to understand terms, the legal strategies that can be used to achieve those goals. Ryan is a member of the Idaho State Bar Association's Taxation, Probate & Trust Law Section. Ryan is also a past president of the Coeur d'Alene Estate Planning Council. Ryan is a proud native of North Idaho. An accomplished musician, Ryan attended Brigham Young University on a scholarship for jazz bass. After serving a two-year mission to Lithuania, he met his future wife, Jennifer, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Ryan began practicing law in 2011 after graduating from the University Of Idaho College Of Law. At law school, Ryan was a member of the Idaho Law Review during which time he served as Associate Editor and then Managing Editor. Ryan also spent two years as a teaching assistant helping new law students hone their legal research and writing skills. In his free time, Ryan enjoys composing music and plays numerous instruments including cello, piano, guitar, and bass. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys skiing, soccer, wakeboarding, backpacking, rock climbing, and kayaking. Ryan takes pride in giving back to the community and is actively involved in church and youth groups. Most of all, Ryan loves spending time with his family and is the proud father of four wonderful children.

Violet Rudd

Violet Rudd is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who owns a local counseling practice specializing in relationships and trauma. She spends her time teaching part time as an associate professor in higher education as well as providing counseling support throughout Idaho. Violet is passionate about helping families and supporting education in the local community. Violet enjoys reading and learning in her free time and is currently working on completing a terminal degree in trauma counseling. Violet and her husband enjoy traveling and have visited countries across four continents. Violet has two children and her family enjoys sports, cooking, and spending time outside.
