MCLAUGHLIN GLAZEWARE

McLaughlin Glazeware was founded in 1993 in Wilmette, Illinois by Mary McLaughlin, an artist and former geologist with a love for the rich medium of porcelain and enamel giftware. Mary started by hand painting porcelain gifts for her friends, spending hours custom designing artwork featuring her friends' and family's homes or celebrating their milestones. Mary's geology training informed a keen interest in the science behind the media, compounds, and pigments involved in this unique art form. Eventually, McLaughlin Glazeware grew to offer custom-designed boxes, presentation bowls, platters, desk accessories and other items for a variety of clients, including four Presidential administrations and dozens of universities, not-for-profit organizations, governmental organizations both domestic and international, and other business entities...
