Ken Knowles

Ken Knowles is the global head of Enterprise Strategy and Business Development. He is responsible for managing Openlink's strategic planning process, including broader strategic objectives and product strategy, to position Openlink for sustainable long term growth and drive operational excellence and efficiency in day-to-day execution. This role was created in 2016 to support a strategic operational approach that aligns long-term vision, mid-range strategy, and near-term operating tactics. Mr. Knowles joined Openlink in 1996 to manage the company's research and development activities, assist with business development and sales initiatives, and work closely with clients on key strategic engagements. As the organization grew, Mr. Knowles assumed full responsibility for the risk and analytic elements of Openlink's solution sets. In 2007, his responsibilities broadened to include commercial ownership of the Findur product line. As a chief architect of Openlink's financial trading and risk functionality, Mr. Knowles has played an active role in software development and design, as well as lending support to client needs and sales initiatives. In recognition of his broad scope of understanding across the Openlink product set, he was promoted in 2012 to a new role as the first Global Head of Product Management for all Openlink products and solutions, where he was responsible for defining product strategy, roadmaps, and vision, aligning product positioning and value propositions in key market segments, and working closely with product development teams on software enhancement initiatives. Prior to joining Openlink, Mr. Knowles worked at Mobil Corporation as a trader in the Capital Markets Group, managing the interest rate and currency exposures of Mobil's global treasury portfolio. Prior to that, he was a Systems Engineer, providing decision support, modeling, and optimization services to the United States Navy's Submarine Launched Tomahawk program office. Mr. Knowles holds an M.S. in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering with distinction from the University of Virginia.

Michael Cronin

Michael is Executive Vice President of Client Services at Openlink, and responsible for the delivery of award-winning customer experience management and support services. In this role, he drives the global strategy across these functions, with a focus on continuous innovation, improving customer satisfaction, and optimizing operational effectiveness. Michael joined OpenLink over 15 years ago, and has successfully managed and optimized key global operational functions including Client Services, Project Management, Release Management, and Commercial & Legal Operations. In each of these roles, he has successfully engaged with internal and external stakeholders to identify strengths and weaknesses, and successfully executed effective change management to drive ongoing improvement. Prior to joining Openlink, Michael worked in project, client, and operational management roles at companies ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Michael has a Bachelor's Degree from The New York Institute of Technology, and has experience with numerous industry standard methodologies including service management (ITIL), project management (PMP), Customer Experience Management (CEM) strategy, management development, and process engineering (including Six Sigma).

Nancy D. Pearson - CMO, EVP

Nancy Pearson is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Openlink Financial. A global leader and executive in technology for over 20 years, she excels in delivering results, creating new business opportunities and establishing strong brands to help drive digital transformation. She has been responsible for the integration of over 38 software acquisitions, and is an expert and industry speaker on cloud computing, cognitive business and digital disruption. At Openlink, Nancy leads global marketing and strategy. She is responsible for advertising, demand generation, brand management, digital marketing, influencer marketing, storytelling and events. Nancy was previously with IBM where she was CMO of the Cloud Unit and CHQ VP Marketing for Cognitive Business. While at IBM, she helped launch many early-stage strategic solutions into globally recognized brands including Linux, Watson, IBM Cloud, WebSphere, Tivoli and others. She has been recognized as a leader in the technology industry and was recently named as one of the top 25 women influencers in cloud computing in 2015 and one of 6 women who rocked the tech world. Nancy holds a B.A. in psychology/human relations from Pace University, an M.S. in adult education/human resource development from Fordham University and an M.M. in market management from the Columbia Business School.

Phil Wang

  • Senior Vice President of Product Management
Phil Wang is the Senior Vice President of Product Management and has been with the company since 1997. He is responsible for the product strategy and direction of our market-leading products. The Product Management team is focused on continued product investment and innovation to meet the needs of our clients and markets. His team works closely with clients, user communities and industry groups to establish roadmaps for our suite of products and services. Previously, Phil has held various roles within the organization, including product management, corporate strategy and business development, account management, consulting and project management. Prior to OpenLink, Mr. Wang worked in the Treasury department for Boeing where he was responsible for cash and risk management. Phil holds several degrees, including a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Finance from Saint Louis University, and an MBA from Maryville University of St. Louis.

Rich Grossi - CEO

Rich was recently named CEO of Openlink Financial. He has a long history of success in key operational roles for over 20 years at Openlink. In his previous role as Chief Technology Officer, he led product management and engineering, as well as the company's IT and information security. In this role, he focused on ensuring that Openlink's products remain industry leaders, aligned to meet the market needs of clients and developed to maximize end-user satisfaction. Rich was responsible for development of the Openlink Cloud platform a future growth area and innovation for the business. He held numerous management positions across business, product, engineering and operations, focusing on leadership, innovation and overall company growth. During these years with Openlink, he led client-driven sales, services and development projects that crossed various areas of the company's product suite. Prior to joining Openlink, Rich worked as a VP of Development at KWI, where he was responsible for technical management of internal software applications for a variety of dedicated clients.

Robert Kalish

Robert Kalish joined Openlink in 1992 as one of the founding architects and developers of the product. Since that time, he has been instrumental in the technology and architecture behind Openlink's cross-market trading and risk management solution sets. Recently, Mr. Kalish assumed leadership of Strategic Client Services, responsible for corporate sales and consulting to strategic clients across all supported markets. From 1986 to 1992, Mr. Kalish developed sophisticated medical electronics and signal processing software, and, prior to that, he was a consultant at Bell Laboratories, where he designed communications software. Mr. Kalish holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union.

Tom Marrapodi - CTO

Tom Marrapodi is Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and a 23-year veteran of Openlink. As CTO, he is focused on providing maximum value to Openlink users around the world by delivering innovative, market-leading trading, treasury, and risk management products. He leads the global product development organization, and is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of all Openlink solutions. He works closely with product management teams to ensure that roadmaps align to business, client, and market needs. Previously, Tom led a transformation of the engineering program, using agile methodologies, and improved operational processes to create a high-performing organization. Prior to that, he spent many years leading product and engineering teams, delivering innovative technology solutions and back-office products. Tom holds an MS in Computer Science from Hofstra University, and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, and Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University.
