MARLA - Alex has been part of the Residential Lettings team for over 10 years. He prides himself on his extensive knowledge and experience of the Mole valley and the local property market, Alex is an integral part of the team and key to its ongoing success. Having managed our Dorking branch for many years, Alex moved to our Leatherhead Head Office in 2022. Alex's hard working yet affable approach has proved popular with both landlords and tenants alike, he always strives to deliver an excellent and professional service.
As a proud father of two and a keen cyclist Alex enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with his family exploring new places.
Amy has worked for Patrick Gardner since 2017 bringing with her a wealth of expertise and knowledge. Amy has lived in the local area since 2000 with her husband and 3 children.
Outside of work, Amy can be found with her nose in a book, standing on a football pitch or walking her dog with her family.
After 45 years in estate agency, beginning in Cheshire, then in London and now here in Surrey, Andrew has worked for both corporate and independent estate agents. He has a wealth of local knowledge having worked in Leatherhead for over 20 years. He still gets great enjoyment from helping both vendors and purchasers alike, and thrives on the day to day challenges that the job brings. In his spare time he enjoys open water swimming and has taken part in the Henley Mile on three occasions, swam around Burgh Island, completed two 6km swims on Llyn Padarn, North Wales and recently finished the Flowers Sea Swim in the Cayman Islands.
BA Hons - Anne-Marie has spent twenty years working in both residential and commercial property. She has lived and worked in London, New York and has now settled in the Surrey Hills. She has a good knowledge of Leatherhead and Surrey, which is helpful guiding prospective buyers. Anne-Marie enjoys walking in Polesdon Lacey with her cockapoo, and spending time her husband and two sons.
MARLA - Having previously worked in both of our Bookham and Dorking offices, Ben has gained a broad knowledge of the local areas. Re-joining Patrick Gardner Lettings in 2017 after working in both Weybridge and Wimbledon, Ben's affable nature and calm approach makes him a popular member of the team. Ben lives in Leatherhead with his partner Lily, who works for a local heart charity. During his days off Ben can be seen on the football pitch as well as spending time with friends and family.
BSc (Hons) MRICS - Bruce first became involved in estate agency in 1986 joining Osenton Lamden in Ashtead village. After finishing a degree at Kingston University Bruce worked in commercial agency in London's West End with Richard Ellis (now CBRE) where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1994. In 1996 Bruce returned to residential agency with Patrick Gardner & Co becoming Partner in 1998.
A RICS Registered Valuer, Bruce undertakes ‘Red Book' Valuations for Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Matrimonial purposes. Bruce also has a depth of knowledge and vast experience with the sale of land for development and regularly gives advice to the landowners who are seeking to sell to developers. Bruce has lived locally since he was a teenager and now lives in Leatherhead.
Cathy has worked for Patrick Gardner and Company for over 10 years as a lettings coordinator and works very closely with all members of the lettings team.
Having previously run an outside catering business she is a keen cook, enjoys gardening and taking her two Bernese mountain dogs for long walks.
Having lived in Mole Valley all her life and having worked for Patrick Gardner Residential since the very first day the firm opened, Cathy has extensive experience of the business. Initially working as Patrick's personal assistant, now is a crucial member of the Leatherhead sales team in addition to overseeing the majority of the firm's administrative needs.
Cathy is married to Douglas (Partner at our Bookham office) and has a daughter Jenny and two grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and walking with her two rescue greyhounds.
BSc (Hons) MNAEA - having worked with Patrick Gardner in the property industry for over 15 years, Charlotte offers a wealth of experience and expertise to the team and knows what really matters when it comes to delivering good customer service. With her extensive knowledge of the local area, she looks forward to meeting clients and assisting them on their journey. Living locally with her husband and two children, she enjoys walking, travelling and spending time with her friends and family.
Clare has a long-established interest and passion in local property having lived in the local area all her life, and now lives in Great Bookham. She is passionate about finding properties to suit her client's needs and uses her extensive local knowledge to present good property opportunities.
She is a keen history enthusiast and has been a member of the Local History Society for many years. As an active National Trust member, Clare likes to recharge her batteries by regularly visiting the many interesting properties throughout the UK.
BA (hons) MNAEA - After an education at St John's School, Leatherhead and University Douglas spent some time in the hospitality industry. He joined Patrick Gardner Residential in 1998 and has since developed a passion for selling property in Ashtead, Bookham and the surrounding area. His commitment and dedication was recognised by the company and in 2013 he became a full Partner.
He is married to Cathy from our Leatherhead office, has a daughter and has lived in the Mole Valley all his life. His Interests include clay pigeon shooting, gastronomy, playing guitar in a local band and listening to Jazz.
Ed started his estate agency career in 2013 working for an independent agency in Kingston Upon Thames. Educated at St. Johns School in Leatherhead, Ed has lived in the area his whole life, gaining him excellent local knowledge to provide an exceptional service.
Ed enjoys playing football for both Surbiton Lions and Walton Heath whilst he is also an avid AFC Wimbledon fan.
Elaine joined the Property Management team in November 2015 having spent a number of years running her own property inventory company. She had prior to this worked in Property Management for seven years. Outside work she is worn out by her two grandsons, enjoys sport, playing competitive netball and darts. In the odd spare moment she enjoys a glass of wine with family and friends.
Having lived in the area all her life, Emma joined Patrick Gardner in 2020 originally as a Saturday sales assistant. Her commitment to hard work and excellent customer service resulted in Emma quickly progressing to the role of Negotiator at the Leatherhead branch. With her sharp knowledge of the local market, Emma has helped numerous families find their dream home.
When not standing on the side of a netball and rugby pitch, Emma enjoys long walks in the local countryside with her dog and holiday trips to Cornwall with her family.
Frank has worked in the property business since graduation from university with a degree in Real Estate at the start of the decade. Frank grew up in Leatherhead, where he still resides, and was a pupil at West Ashtead Primary School and later attended Epsom College.
He is a passionate sports fan and has a particular love for Arsenal Football club. When he's not playing golf, he enjoys playing the drums and learning to play the guitar.
Hannah started her journey as an estate agent with Patrick Gardner nearly 2 years ago and enjoys helping clients find their dream home. Prior to that she was a private nanny for over 10 years. Hannah has lived in Dorking since 2003 giving her vast amounts of local knowledge, she is now raising her two children in popular Surrey Hills village of Westcott. Outside of work Hannah spends her time walking her dog Wesley around Headley and Polesden Lacey. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
Ian Baillie has retired from full time duties with the partnership but continues to have an active role as a consultant to the Company. He can be contacted for advice via our Bookham Office where his 45 years of residential expertise may prove to be useful. He will continue to work on potential development projects providing Patrick Gardner Residential with some excellent new homes to sell. Ian also remains a director of Patrick Gardner Residential Lettings and is a passionate golfer.
Jackie has held a number of roles within our lettings department from Saturday Negotiator to Property Manager so she is well versed in the intricacies of letting, and has become a pivotal member of our team. With previous experience in finance and investment banking in the City, Jackie is well placed to secure properties for waiting tenants. Outside of work her two active teenagers and Panda, the Jack Russell, keep her very busy.
Jackie joined Patrick Gardner & Co in 1996 assisting with the administration of all the offices and staff. After being a Partner for 9 years and being involved with the roles of financial controller, human resource manager, payroll manager, lettings administrator and block management, Jackie has now taken a step back from full-time work to concentrate on just the financial aspect as an Associate Partner.
Jackie is married and has two grown up daughters. She is a keen badminton player, an ardent supporter of Surrey County Cricket Club and enjoys bird watching and walking in the Surrey Hills.
MNAEA - Jamie has worked in the property industry since leaving school, initially for a development company and in 2008 joining a local estate agent as a junior negotiator. Jamie grew up in Leatherhead and went to Oakfield Junior School in Fetcham and Therfield Secondary School in Leatherhead. Jamie lives in Bookham with his partner Danielle and his children Louis and Grace. He enjoys playing golf and badminton, going to the gym and walking his two dogs Boycie and Lola.
Jane joined our Leatherhead office as part time Finance Manager in Block Property in June 2020 and assists Jackie in the day-to-day running of the department.
Jane is married with two boys and enjoys spending her weekends going for long walks, cooking and watching her sons play football.
Janet has worked for Patrick Gardner & Co since 1995, Subsequently overseeing innumerable sales over the years. Prior to this Janet had her own business whilst her two children grew up. Preceding that she worked in Fleet Street for 12 years.
Janet enjoys playing golf, country walks and painting, she also loves football and is an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
Jessica joined Patrick Gardner in January 2023, kick starting her career in the property sector. Previously working in retail and an administrative background, she has a strong focus on customer care and an eagerness to learn within the industry. Born and raised in Dorking, Jess holds a good knowledge of the local area.
Juli joined Patrick Gardner in June 2018 and has been a property manager since 2005. She previously worked for a large international property company, and has experience of managing small apartments, large luxury homes and Grade Listed houses across the South East. Born in Surrey, and a resident in Fetcham since 2007, Juli enjoys spending time in the Surrey Hills with friends and family, the theatre and is part of a local Book Club.

BSc (Hons) MRICS - A Chartered Surveyor, Justin has worked in the residential property sector for over 20 years and has an exemplary track record in the industry. In 2023, Justin became a joint owner of the Block & Estate Management department for Patrick Gardner. With his extensive business experience in Block & Estate Management, he combines a strong focus on property management and customer service. In his spare time, he enjoys going for local walks with his dogs.
MARLA - Linda re-joined the world of estate agency after a brief stint in agency in her 20s followed by 30 successful years of running her own hair and beauty business in the local area. She enjoys cooking, socialising with friends and spending time at her holiday home in Spain.
Lisa has worked in the property industry for the past 12 years and thoroughly enjoys every aspect of it, especially client care. She is a local mother to two grown up children and one grandchild who likes to keep her extremely busy in her spare time!
Loraine has worked in the property industry for 30 years on both sales and lettings and is fully committed to providing a smooth customer journey. She has two grown up daughters and lives locally in Epsom. Loraine enjoys the outdoors going for long walks, is a keen gardener, and has a passion for Ceroc dancing with her partner Chris.

MARLA - Louise joined Patrick Gardner this year and has previously been working in property management and all fields of estate agency for over 25 years. Louise brings a wealth of knowledge to the company and provides a down to earth and caring approach to all our landlords and tenants. She is very passionate and will go above and beyond with her ‘can do' approach. A true problem solver at heart. She has 3 children and enjoys taking the time helping others.
MARLA - Lucinda joined the lettings team of Patrick Gardner Residential five years ago after a change in career direction, which previously included ten years in the city on the financial futures exchange.
A local resident, Lucinda lives with her husband, three children and one naughty dog! She loves her garden and is a dedicated tennis player.
BA (Hons) - Lucy joined Patrick Gardner Lettings in Dorking in 2021. Having worked in Lettings on the South Coast after graduating University with a degree in French, Spanish and British Sign Language. Having made the move from the coast, Lucy is continuing her career in lettings in Mole Valley, and currently undertaking her ARLA exams.
Lucy enjoys socialising with friends and family and walking through the Surrey countryside with her partner Dakota and dog Teddy.

MNAEA - Madeleine began her agency career in Dorking in 2017. Since then, she has qualified as a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents whilst also gaining a high level of conveyancing experience through her time at a local solicitors. Having grown up in the surrounding villages of Dorking, Madeleine has unparalleled knowledge of the Mole Valley, which proves valuable when dealing with buyers and sellers.
She lives locally with her Partner Jake and two cocker spaniels, Alfie and Monty. Madeleine has a passion for country pursuits and can often be found horse riding or walking the dogs in the Surrey Hills. When she isn't in her wellies, Maddy can be found singing in her band at local pubs and festivals.
Originally from Bookham, Megan joined us with several years' work experience both in estate agency and the retail sector. Growing up in a family of property developers, Megan is the perfect addition to our busy lettings team bringing a wealth of experience, beyond her years, in property and all its nuances. A past Eastwick School and Howard of Effingham pupil, Megan is perfectly placed to advise applicants moving into the Bookham area. Outside of work she is ‘mad about' cars and enjoys spending time with her dog, Bonnie.
Michelle started out in estate agency in 2003 working for a Surrey conveyancing solicitor who was linked to his own independent estate agency. In 2005 Michelle moved on to a corporate agent selling homes across the beautiful rural county of Herefordshire.
Joining Patrick Gardner in 2015 Michelle now heads up the Ashtead team and is committed to upholding and enhancing the excellent long-established reputation of the largest independent agency in the local area.
Due to her wealth of knowledge along with her personable and professional approach she excels in making the moving process as stress free as possible for both buyers and sellers.
BA (Hons) - For over 20 years Michelle has worked in both advertising agency and client-side marketing roles and has developed an extensive understanding and wealth of experience in property marketing. During this time, Michelle headed up the northern office of an established property advertising agency, subsequently worked for an award-winning developer and is now joint owner of a design and marketing agency. In her spare time, Michelle has a passion for cooking, spending time with her family, skiing and going on adventures in her Land Rover Defender!
BA (hons) MARLA - Nick has worked for Patrick Gardner and Co since 2005 and has been involved in the property industry since 2003. Specialising in residential lettings Nick also takes a keen interest in all aspects of property from renovation and development to investment and letting. This experience means he is committed to delivering straightforward and well researched advice to ensure landlords maximise their rental yields. Nick is an avid sports fan and enjoys travelling, cooking and refurbishing his own property.
Having previously worked in the telecoms industry, Pam initially joined our Leatherhead office in April 2018 and subsequently moved to our Bookham office in 2021. Living locally in Fetcham with her husband, three children and dog, Pam is an active member of the Friends of Oakfield School Committee. This provides her with a wealth of knowledge and experience of the schools and local area. In between working and the school runs, Pam enjoys cooking, reading and family walks with the dog.
MNAEA - Paul entered the Estate Agency business in the late 1980's working in South London for over a decade. Recently returning to Surrey, his extensive experience has been a foundation helping sellers and buyers alike to achieve a smooth property transaction. Paul's 5 minutes of television fame came when he was asked to take part in the programme "To Buy or Not to Buy". Living locally, Paul spends quality time with his partner Ashley and their son Christian.

Sarah re-joined Patrick Gardner Lettings in 2014 having worked for the Company previously between 2000-2005. Over the past 9 years she has worked in both residential sales and lettings in the Guildford and Horsley areas. Sarah lives in Leatherhead and has 2 children and in her spare time she enjoys interior design, travelling and long dog walks.
MARLA - Sarah joined Patrick Gardner in accounts in October 2018 after moving back to Surrey, after 18 years living on the South Coast. She is a bookkeeper and member of the IAB. Her time at home is spent looking after three lively boys aged 12, 10 and 7 as well as renovating her house! She also enjoys visiting new countries.
BA (Hons) MARLA - After enjoying a successful career in direct marketing and commercial enterprise for two national newspapers, Sarah looked for a change of direction following the birth of her first child, Oscar. Retraining in residential lettings in 2001, Sarah heads up our Bookham Lettings team with passion and genuine enthusiasm providing a key point of contact for property investment, tenancy legalities, property management and relocation to Bookham and the surrounding areas. Outside work, Sarah's passion is netball and Ladies cricket through Ashtead All Stars Netball Club and Epsom & Ashtead Cricket Clubs. She also enjoys visiting her family in Cornwall and Paris.
MNAEA - Growing up and living in Fetcham and having been educated in Dorking, Sarah joined Patrick Gardner Residential in 2009 as Trainee Negotiator. Since then she has qualified as a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents and is now a highly valued member of the Ashtead office sales team.
Sarah and her partner Liam have recently had a daughter who keeps them busy but they are also keen road cyclists and like to spend their free time either out cycling with friends or keeping fit in the local gym. Currently on maternity leave.
MNAEA - Having previously worked as a Lettings Negotiator at our Leatherhead office for eight years, SarahJane joined the Bookham Office in 2013 as a negotiator and now manages our successful sales team.
Sarahjane has lived in both Bookham and Leatherhead for around 25 years and has therefore an excellent knowledge of the local area. She is married to Steve, has two grown up children and enjoys spending her spare time walking in the countryside with her friends and her dog.
Selina started her journey in our Leatherhead Branch in 2019 and went on to join the Dorking Team full-time in July 2020. Having run her own online homewares business for over ten years she has a passion for interiors and a strong focus on Client care. With two grown up boys who attended secondary School in Dorking, she has a wealth of local knowledge and loves long walks over Ranmore and Box Hill.
Shelley joined Patrick Gardner in early 2022, and comes from an experienced background in conveyancing having worked in several firms of solicitors. Since joining, she has brought a wealth of enthusiasm and customer service skill to the team and is passionate about offering the best service for all her clients, striving to make the whole experience as stress free as possible.
Shelley has lived in Epsom most of her life and enjoys the beautiful Surrey countryside walks with her two King Charles Cavaliers. She has three grown up children, two of which have taken their first steps onto the property ladder .
Susan started Patrick Gardner Block Management in 2016 following her retirement from the Partnership having opened their Ashtead Office in 1994 and a successful career in estate agency.
Due to the ongoing success of Patrick Gardner Block Management she has now passed over the reins to retire and take time to enjoy a less hectic life and enjoy her hobbies. Susan will continue as a Consultant to assist and advise the block management team.
Suzanne joined the Lettings team in 2015 wishing to compliment her career in the travel industry with her interest in residential lettings. She has lived locally all her life, the past nineteen years in Fetcham with her husband. Suzanne enjoys spending time with family including her daughter and granddaughter, travelling, eating out and watching a good film.
MIRPM Assoc RICS - Tom has worked in block & estate management since 2008 and has achieved MIRPM and AssocRICS qualifications in Property Management. Tom also holds a degree in Civil Engineering. Tom joined Patrick Gardner in 2020. Tom lives with his wife in Sussex and they are proud parents to Iris & Roman. Outside of work Tom enjoys golf, rugby, reading and visiting family.
BSc (Hons) MNAEA - Educated in Leatherhead, Tom is well known locally and has been with Patrick Gardner for over 20 years. Full of energy and enthusiasm, Tom has a wealth of market experience and is a real ‘people person', providing a high quality service built on honesty and professionalism.
Having enjoyed a varied career in media and publishing Vari decided a change of direction was called for after the birth of her second child Grace. Joining Patrick Gardner Residential in 2000 as a member of the Land and New Homes team her breadth of knowledge and drive saw her rapid advancement culminating in becoming a full partner of the firm in 2013. In her spare time, Vari likes to spend time enjoying a wide range of activities with her husband and children.
