Sweeney Plant and Vehicle Hire has a large fleet for hire from their depot in Petersburn Road, Airdrie and are continuing to grow from strength to strength. We invest in quality products and employ professional staff to advise and assist our customers. Our main aim is to supply solutions to meet our customers' exact requirements. Sweeney remains independent assuring the customer gets the vehicle and service that suits their needs... Sweeney Plant and Vehicle Hire started out in 1973 working as a contractor, carrying out street works mainly for British Telecom and mostly involving hand digging. The first item of plant, a second hand JCB, was acquired in 1975 and used for the contracting work, although occasionally hired out.
