Aimee joined the firm as a Paralegal within the Civil Legal Aid team and then progressed into the matrimonial team, where she was awarded a training contract. Having completed her law degree in 2013, Aimee then went on to study for the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School and completed this with a distinction in 2017. Aimee qualified as a solicitor in October 2020
Aimee is a Solicitor and joined Family Law Group in April 2016. She works in the Chesterfield office within the matrimonial department and specialises in private law children, divorce proceedings, finances and injunctions. Aimee also provides assistance and advice to those clients that qualify for Legal Aid and victims of domestic abuse.

To further support her legal experience and interests, Alexandra is a member of Resolution and member of Northamptonshire Law Society.
Alexandra is a Solicitor and Deputy Head of Family Law Direct. Alexandra joined Family Law Group in November 2017. She works at the Northampton and Wellingborough offices and specialises in private law children, divorce, matrimonial finance, and injunction matters.
Amanda works with predominantly private clients, having specialised in family law in 1995. The majority of Amanda's work comes from referrals or recommendations.
Amanda comments, "Very early on in my career I set myself personal goals, which meant that I applied for Panel Membership through the Law Society as soon as I could in order to become a specialist." Amanda has an interest in alternative dispute resolution, which enabled her to train and develop a practice of collaborative law and mediation work. "It is my sheer determination and drive for perfection that has resulted in progression of my career to become a Director in 2010," adds Amanda.
Whilst at Family Law Group, Amanda has developed the mediation practice, enabling the firm to take on consultant mediators providing mediation services across all of the firm's offices. Amanda is an accredited mediator specialising in high conflict cases and is qualified to undertake direct consultation with children.
Looking toward to the future, Amanda has completed the Professional Practice Consultancy training. This has enabled Amanda to professionally supervise the mediation team and develop Solicitors in the firm who have an interest in becoming mediators.
Clearly passionate about her career, Amanda commented that at Family Law Group, she particularly likes the way in which everyone works together as a team and has the same goals and values. She is proud of the fact that the team aims to be the best at what they do and their main focus is on client care.
When asked what Amanda likes most about her legal profession Amanda concluded, "I enjoy client contact and the ability to assist and support them through a difficult time. It is satisfying to be able to offer honest and straightforward advice."
"On a day to day basis I am interested in the financial aspects of separation, analysing and considering options and proposals for settlement. I work with a great team of people, who can be relied upon and I enjoy supporting junior colleagues to progress in their careers."
Amanda has written articles and made a number of media appearances. Amanda represented the mother in a reported child case of LVC [2014] EWFC 1280.
Amanda is a Director of the firm supporting the Nottingham office and specialising in divorce and finance work, mediation and collaborative law.
Amanda started her legal career in commercial property and as a result of being made redundant, changed direction to become a Paralegal in family law. Whilst working, Amanda completed her legal studies in the evening to qualify as a Legal Executive.

Amy is a Trainee Solicitor in our Northampton office. Amy joined Family Law Group in November 2021 as a Paralegal within our Family Law Direct team. Amy now works within the children department and specialises in Care Proceedings, Private Law Children Proceedings and Domestic Abuse Cases.

Angela Phelan is a Consultant Senior Solicitor who has recently joined FLG from her own practice in South Bucks. She has dedicated herself to the complex area of family law with emphasis on children in both private and public law proceedings (care and supervision). She was also a police station representative in the past so can offer an insight into criminal connection to family proceedings.
Angela Phelan was the only solicitor in Chesham (where she previously practised) to have been appointed to the Law Society's Advanced Family Law Panel in 2002.
Angela offers a service that is friendly and thorough with an inside understanding of the emotional trauma that relationship breakdowns can cause.
Additionally she was appointed to the Law Society's Children Panel as a Parent and children's representative. As such he deals with public law proceedings where the state intervenes in family's lives and acts also for children through their appointed Guardians. This is a complex area of law that enhances specific organisational skills together with a knowledge of family dynamics and vulnerable partners. She will deal with care and supervision orders and special guardianship orders. This type of legal aid is non means and non merits tested for the most part.

To further support his legal experience, Ben is an accredited Children Panel member through the Law Society. He is also a Trustee for the Cambridge Child Contact Centre, an organisation run by volunteers to help and support separated families.
Ben is an Associate Solicitor and joined Family Law Group in September 2019. He works out of our Cambridge office and specialises in public law children cases representing parents and children in care proceedings and contentious private law children matters.

Charis is a Trainee Solicitor who first joined Family Law Group in April 2021 as a Paralegal. She is based in the Milton Keynes office and works on private children, care proceedings and domestic abuse cases.
Chloe is an SQE Apprentice Solicitor in the children department at our Northampton office.

Dan joined Family Law Group in May 2011 and is the Head of the Milton Keynes Office. As a Director of the firm, Dan's primary responsibilities include ensuring that the firm has a sound financial footing and through marketing that its branding and promotional activities align with its ethos and values. Additionally, Dan is responsible for recruitment and HR in the Southern offices and has played a major part in recent expansion and growth in those areas.
Dan is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in domestic abuse and advocacy (Private Law Children).
Dan, Head of Family Law Group's Milton Keynes office since May 2011, is a Director responsible for the firm's financial stability and brand alignment. He also manages recruitment and HR for the Southern offices, contributing significantly to expansion and growth in those areas.
Donato is an SQE Apprentice Solicitor initially joining Family Law Group in September 2017. He was previously based in the Milton Keynes office before moving and assisting with the opening of the Bedford office in February 2021.
Ella is an SQE Apprentice in our Milton Keynes office. Ella initially joined Family Law Group in May 2022 after completing four weeks work experience and was offered a permanent role as a Paralegal.
Emily joined Family Law Group shortly after completing her studies at the University of Liverpool. She graduated with a 1st class honours in 2020 having been the first in her family to attend university.
Harriet is a Solicitor in our Northampton office. Harriet joined Family Law Group as a paralegal in October 2020 and commenced her training contact in September 2021. Harriet has worked in Family Law since March 2018.

Graduating from Leeds Law School with an upper second-class honours in 2021. James joined Family Law Group in April 2023, in our Nottingham office.
Jaydene is a Solicitor and joined Family Law Group in January 2019. She works out of the Bedford office and specialises in care proceedings and private law children matters.

Johanna, an Associate Solicitor at Chesterfield, chose to focus on family law in order to help people through a difficult time in their lives, whether that is a divorce, financial settlement upon divorce, domestic abuse difficulties or children contact arrangements.
Jonathan initially studied a degree in Philosophy and enjoyed a career after university in the public sector including roles at the Home Office, the General Social Care Council and the National College for School Leadership.
Julia is a Solicitor and joined Family Law Group in January 2019. She works in the Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton areas and specialises in divorce proceedings, finances and children matters.
Julie initially obtained a Psychology degree, after which she decided to pursue a career in law and qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She then joined the family team which then became Family Law Group in 2005, helping shape the team to what it is now.

Katy began working in a Law Firm in Newcastle upon Tyne aged17 as an Office Junior and then went on to gain more than 20 years' experience in a Secretarial/PA role, finally becoming a team leader. This was when she decided to take the step in to HR, recently being promoted to HR
Keri-Anne works at the Milton Keynes and specialises in care proceedings and private law matters including children and domestic abuse for both private and Legally Aided clients.

Kerry joined Family Law Group in September 2014 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2018. She works out of our Nottingham and Peterborough offices and specialises in public and private law children cases.
Kim is an SQE Apprentice Solicitor at our Nottingham office. She joined us as a Paralegal at the start of 2022 after a career as Head of English at a local secondary school. She obtained a degree in English in 2012 and has just completed her law conversion degree.

Lucy is a Solicitor and Head of Family Law Direct. Lucy joined Family Law Group in August 2022. She works in the Nottingham office and spends time at the Derby office. Lucy has taken up the role of Head of the Family Law Direct team where she supervises the five paralegals.

Lynsey qualified as a solicitor in February 2012 having achieved a Merit on the Legal Practice Course from UWE in Bristol and a First Class Law Degree from Kingston University in London in 2008.
Mary joined our Nottingham office in July 2013 and is a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in children matters, domestic abuse and divorce and financial matters.
Megan is a Solicitor and joined Family Law Group in September 2017. She works out of the Milton Keynes office and specialises in care proceedings and domestic abuse matters.
Moska Gharanei joined Family Law Group in October 2020. She works out of our Northampton office and specialises in Care Proceedings, Private Children Law Proceedings and Domestic Abuse Cases.
Natasha completed her degree in History at the University of Portsmouth. Following this, Natasha completed a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Westminster where she also studied for her Legal Practice Course.
Over her legal career, Nikita has represented family members in court through all, undertaking her own advocacy and covering hearings throughout Northants.
Patrick is an SQE Apprentice Solicitor and joined Family Law Group in September 2019. He works out of our Cambridge office and specialises in public law children cases representing parents in care proceedings and the Public Law Outline (PLO) process.
Rabina is an Assistant Solicitor who joined Family Law Group in January 2021. Rabina is based in our Nottingham office and specialises in injunctions, non-molestation orders and private children matters, she also represents clients at court.
Raj is a Non- Executive Director and practices in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. She joined Family Law Group in 2009, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. Since that date, she has practised almost exclusively in Family Law.
Rebecca is a Solicitor who splits her time between the Northampton and Milton Keynes Offices and joined Family Law Group in June 2022 following qualification. Rebecca specialises in both public and private children matters.

Sam Redsull has worked at FLG for six years, and has worked in Family Law for over 15 years. Sam has predominately assisted one of the Directors, Dan Cooper with running his busy case load over the years, and is based in Milton Keynes.

Simon qualified as a Solicitor in 1988 having initially trained and practised in London. Within a year of moving to Nottingham, he became a partner in what is now one of the leading criminal law practices in the country.

Sophie is an SQE Apprentice and joined Family Law Group in August 2022. She works out of the Derby office.
Stephanie is a SQE apprentice who joined Family Law Group in 2021 on the Civil Legal Advice Team. Stephanie now works as a Paralegal in the Chesterfield Office.
Summer is an SQE Apprentice in our Milton Keynes office, assisting Dan Cooper with his busy caseload. She joined FLG as a paralegal in July 2022.

Suzanne is an Associate Solicitor and joined Family Law Group in October 2022. She works out of our Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds offices and specialises in public law children cases, representing parents and children in care proceedings and adoption cases.
Tillie went to Newcastle University and obtained a 2:1 in her Law Degree. Tillie undertook Family Law in her third year, and decided that Family Law was the most rewarding area of law, which still rings true to this day.

Tim joined Family Law Group as a paralegal in 2022. Tim works predominately in public family law, assisting solicitors in care proceedings and the Public Law Outline (PLO) process.
