The Haller Foundation is a new charity. Founded in 2004 we are registered in the UK, but work at the grass roots level with individuals and communities in townships and rural areas in Kenya. Its goals are to help individuals and families break out of the poverty trap. By providing education and training in sustainable agriculture, and community based wildlife and conservation initiatives, The Haller Foundation offers Africans the skills to become self sufficient, and by supporting small scale enterprises, the potential to become 'barefoot entrepreneurs'... The Haller Foundation is seeking funding to establish an environmental education centre at the entrance to Nguuni Nature Sanctuary. This is a stunning nature reserve and one of Rene Haller's flagship bio-diversity restorations.
