Anthony Le

Anthony has broad legal experience having previously worked in Regulatory Law and is a highly experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with over 10 years' PQE but has been working in Law since 2006. His career to date has seen him mentioned in the Legal 500 and having worked in small boutique City law firms as well as large international firms. As well as corporate drafting and being a robust litigator with experience across a diverse mix of commercial disputes, Anthony has particular experience in contractual claims, debt recovery, enforcement, civil fraud, injunctions, construction, repossession, insurance coverage, adverse possession, breach of restrictive covenant claims, insolvency and mediation. He takes joy in being the broad shoulders to support clients whether their claim or defence is worth hundreds or hundreds of thousands of pounds. He often says that litigation is as much about strategy as it is about procedural rules, case law or facts, but loves deploying all of these elements in case strategies.

David Smith

David qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in January 2019 after completing his work based learning with the firm. He is a former treasurer and chair of the Liverpool CILEx branch and stepped down after successfully guiding the organisation out of a period of uncertainty. David previously worked for a city centre firm dealing predominantly with personal injury and uninsured loss recovery before moving into commercial law. Since then he has dealt with many aspects of commercial law, focusing on financial mis-selling and debt recovery.

Louise Burns-Lunt

Louise qualified as a chartered accountant in December 1996 and worked for a large North West based firm of accountants specialising in audit and accountancy services for a wide range of businesses with turnover of up to £50 million. Louise left practice to join a legal firm as FD in 2003 and was one of the first accountants in the country to become an equity partner following the approval of ABS's by the SRA. Experienced in all areas of legal compliance, planning and practice management, Louise can advise on issues you may be experiencing in these areas, in addition to assisting with financial planning and project management. More recently Louise has been heavily engaged in assisting businesses with calculating the effects of the pandemic on their business, and supporting the Business Interruption team in preparing schedules of losses for presentation to insurers.

Paul McKittrick

Paul started work in the legal profession in 1984. A mixed disciplinary practice which dealt with all aspects of the law. A typical day would see clients involved in petty crime through to complicated fraud allegations and murders. He moved towards general litigation and also changed firms. At his new firm he was instrumental in expanding the claimant insurance department to the point where it generated more fee income than all other areas of the practice combined. In 1993 he left the legal profession to begin a new start up business and rapidly developed this to a company with £9m turnover at year 7. At this point he left to complete a lifelong ambition of property development and renovation. He thereafter returned to the legal profession with his former firm. He became responsible for development of new work leads across the whole practice and a development team of three. Through hard work new business increased by 30% in the first 3months and 66% after 12 months. He engaged and brought on board blue chip firms to the practice (Jaguar, Land Rover and First Bus). "I am happy to say the business makes advancements every day and we have ambitious plans for the future".

William Miller

William Miller was the firm's first trainee solicitor, who has qualified as a solicitor in June 2023. William joined the firm in September 2020 and has progressed month-on-month in all aspects of commercial litigation, from pre-action correspondence all the way to enforcement of court orders. William will be advising clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, with a focus on landlord and tenant disputes, mis-sold investment claims, contract disputes and general debt claims.
