After obtaining my medical degree (MBBS) in Greece in 1993 I came to London where I have lived and worked ever since. I obtained the Diploma in Clinical Neurology at the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London in 1994 and then went on to train in psychiatry. After gaining membership to the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2003, I completed my higher specialist training in 2006 and immediately went on to lead a clinical team as a Consultant... My commitment to delivering the best quality of care led to my appointment as an Associate Clinical Director in the adult mental health services covering the City & Hackney area of east London between 2009-2012. I left the NHS at the end of 2014 in order to meet the demand from my private practice... Dr. Christos Dimitriou is a London based Consultant Psychiatrist providing specialist assessments and treatment for a range of psychiatric and psychological conditions.
