GLOBAL SIGHT INITIATIVE

The Global Sight Network Initiative is a collective effort to scale up sustainable eye care services worldwide. The initiative involves eight Mentor institutions: Al Noor Magrabi Foundation; LAICO Aravind Eye Care System; Kilimanjaro Center for Community Ophthalmology; Lumbini Eye Institute; LV Prasad Eye Institute; Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya; Visualiza Eye Care System; Vivekananda Mission Netra Niramay Niketan and several supporting organizations: Seva Foundation, Seva Canada, International Eye Foundation, and International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness. The initiative strengthens the Mentors' capacity to offer strategic planning services, training, and consultation to mentee eye hospitals. Through this process, the mentees improve service delivery, quality, and sustainability.
