Abram Smith

Abram is a founding team member of Greenbrier and leads the firm's blockchain practice. His work in the crypto space, dating back to 2013, has taken him to nearly every corner of the industry from upstart DeFi projects, to leading wallets and exchanges, to Layer 1 blockchains, and global NFT marketplaces. Abram offers clients the experience and relationships needed to help shape public perception and drive successful community, media, and policy outcomes for projects of all shapes and sizes. Prior to joining Greenbrier, Abram was cutting his teeth during the frontier years at Uber as part of the Policy & Communications Team, primarily responsible for the Pacific Northwest region. There, he helped design and execute public relations campaigns surrounding product launches, on-demand stunts, regulatory battles, and philanthropic endeavors. Abram holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. When he's not in the trenches of Web3, he's either playing pick-up basketball, watching NFL RedZone, or spending time with his family of four at his home in Petaluma, California.

Adrian Durbin

Adrian Durbin is a senior communications and government relations expert with more than twenty years of experience handling corporate, financial, crisis, policy, and executive communications, often in high-pressure environments. Adrian joined Greenbrier from Lyft, where he was Head of Communications. In that role, he managed a team of 30 and led the company's corporate public relations efforts through several seminal moments, including its IPO, expansion into dozens of new markets, and the addition of bikes and scooters to the Lyft platform. Before joining Lyft, Adrian held multiple roles at McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, including Director of Public Policy and Manager of Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Prior to that, he held several positions within Massachusetts politics. At 23, he was the youngest Chief of Staff in the Massachusetts Senate, and also served as Press Secretary and Speechwriter for the Massachusetts Treasurer. In addition, he spent three years as a Director at Weber Shandwick, focused primarily on crisis communications. Adrian completed a dual MBA/MPH program, with honors, at UC Berkeley, and received his undergraduate degree in government, cum laude, from Dartmouth College. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Claudia, and their son and twin daughters. He spends most of his free time being told what to do by his kids, but also sneaks in as many rounds of golf as he can.

Alexandra Lamanna

Alexandra is a senior communications and public affairs expert with significant experience operating at the highest levels of politics, government, and the private sector. Alexandra served as White House Spokesperson and Assistant Press Secretary focusing on reproductive rights, the economy, and technology and crypto regulations. Alexandra also was the senior spokesperson for Secretary Janet L. Yellen and the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Day One political appointee in the Biden Administration. Prior to that, she was part of the Biden-Harris Transition, working to secure Senate confirmation of Cabinet nominees. Alexandra joined the Administration from Lyft where she led strategic, executive, financial, and crisis communications as head of the corporate communications function. Alexandra lives in New York City and is a graduate of Northwestern University.

Allison Guthrie - CCO

Allison's diverse background ranges from public relations and communications to brand management and marketing. With a track record of success in developing and executing comprehensive strategies, she has worked both in-house and agency-side with a wide range of clients, from small startups to large tech companies. She prides herself on her ability to generate creative and effective solutions and brings valuable client management skills to the team. Prior to Greenbrier, Allison was the Brand Manager of the Dallas Zoo, where she was responsible for driving market awareness and oversaw creative teams and external agencies to develop impactful campaigns. Before that, she worked on award-winning teams at Epsilon and The Richards Group, leading advertising account management for clients like AT&T, Chick-fil-A, and The Home Depot. Allison graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Marketing and lives in Dallas with her husband and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys creating new recipes (though does not enjoy doing dishes) and exploring estate sales.

Annie Parker - CCO

Annie Parker is a seasoned communications leader who has spent more than 10 years counseling and supporting a diverse set of clients, including high-profile, established brands and startups. Her experience spans healthcare, high tech, SaaS, AI, consumer products, lifestyle, television and film. Prior to joining Greenbrier, Annie advised Comcast, Nickelodeon, Nokia, Toshiba, Sensory AI, and virtual reality pioneer Within, among other companies. In those roles she managed communications efforts through creative, integrated campaigns that employed executive visibility, earned media, events, storytelling through data and third parties, and more. Annie is a natural storyteller, expert researcher and a quick study in any new industry and media landscape. Annie received a B.A. in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. She lives in Portland, Oregon where she can be found in the kitchen, exploring the city's culinary scene or on a hike in the Columbia Gorge with her two dogs, Lola and BABs

Arturo Burciaga

In 2012, Arturo was part of the historic Hispanic Media team which helped President Barack Obama win reelection. He also worked with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid's Hispanic Media team. While at the U.S. House of Representatives, he specialized in constituent issues within the Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, and the Internal Revenue Service amongst many others. In Alabama, he ran a series of "Know Your Rights" seminars for the local Latino community and worked with them on issues ranging from voter registration, immigration reform advocacy, grassroots community organizing, and civic engagement. At Greenbrier, he works with clients in executing their strategic communications and digital plans to help achieve their goals. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he produced original research in Latin American economies, immigration and media in the U.S., and race relations. On weekends, you'll catch Arturo rooting on his beloved Premier League club Chelsea FC. Arturo is a native of Mexico.

Dana Davis

Dana is a strategic communications executive who specializes in helping companies shape their story and build their brand. Dana got her start in healthcare PR, where she represented some of the world's largest healthcare companies, counseling executives on everything from regulatory issues to online community organizing to Congressional hearings. Dana then joined Lyft, where she was responsible for safety and crisis communications. Most recently, Dana served as Head of Communications at Unqork, a Series C enterprise SaaS startup, where she built the company's profile with media, investors, customers and developers. Dana holds a BA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University and resides in New York City.

Keli Fazio - VP

Keli is a communication specialist with nearly twenty years of experience in communication and public health research design and analysis. Whether in health, tech, or sustainability contexts, she harnesses her considerable expertise in corporate and interpersonal communication to create strategies and messaging that align with the values and goals of individuals and organizations. Before joining Greenbrier, Keli was chair of the Communication Department and professor of communication and public health at The College of New Jersey. While there, she was appointed to the emergency health and safety task force during the pandemic, chaired the academic policies committee, and was elected to the executive-level steering committee overseeing the governance system. Keli has consulted on leadership, communication during adversity, emotional intelligence, and executive presence. Keli has a Ph.D. from Penn State, an M.A. from The University of Delaware, and a B.A. from The College of New Jersey in communication. She loves checking out all the local restaurants, shuffling her kids to sports, and hanging around backyard fires with her husband and two daughters.

Lauren Burt

Lauren is a public relations professional with over a decade of agency-side and in-house experience. At Greenbrier, she has worked with clients in the healthcare, nonprofit, and education sectors. She has managed media relations strategy, events, product launches, and content development for clients across the spectrum, from early-stage startups to Fortune 100 companies. As in-house PR Manager at Amy's Kitchen, she led internal communications, crisis communications and consumer events while managing PR agencies in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to Amy's Kitchen, she worked at the tech PR agency Nectar Communications, where she led teams including Salesforce Corporate, Salesforce Healthcare and Salesforce Financial Services. She's passionate about helping shape corporate narratives and developing media strategy for startups. Lauren loves exploring Sonoma County and the Central Coast. She received her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from University of Florida, and is based in the Bay Area.

Mandy Weaver

Mandy ensures the smooth operation of daily schedules and efficient handling of client inquiries to enable timely access to the Greenbrier team as needed. Mandy manages administrative duties such as calendar management, event coordination, travel accommodations and client communication. Mandy is active in her community as a small business owner in the strength training industry. In her free time she enjoys biking, camping and hiking in and around Portland, Oregon.
