Bill Lim

Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol, and is a practising Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Bill has represented clients in a wide range of matrimonial, mental capacity act and probate disputes. Although he believes in collaborative dispute resolution, he is equally capable of successfully arguing and resolving contentious proceedings to reach a fair and justice outcome for his clients. Apart from contentious matters, Bill has advised clients on private client matters. Boaz Nazar

Cheryl's main areas of practice include civil and family litigation. She is experienced in handling various matters in the High Court of Singapore, including applications for summary judgments, striking out and setting aside judgments. She has also assisted with court-directed mediations to help parties reach amicable resolutions. Cheryl also has had a wealth of experience in various family matters, including contested divorces, family violence and maintenance matters. To complete the repertoire, Cheryl had assisted in a wide range of criminal matters, such as, criminal trials, Magistrate Appeals and plead-guilty mentions for matters relating to cheating, drug-related offences and Road Traffic Act offences. Grace Chan Wai Ping

Grace was appointed as a director of Kalco Law LLC in April 2022. Having been in practice since 1994, Grace specialises in property-related transactions and loan mortgage financing. This includes commercial, corporate, private property and construction loans. Her wealth of experience includes acting for institutional clients in the purchase of commercial buildings and land parcels from URA, as well as from HDB tenders and private treaties. Grace has also acted in the sale and purchase of residential properties, commercial properties, HDB shophouses, JTC factories and conservation shophouses. Her vast array of experience further extends to acting for major banks in Singapore in mortgagees' sale auctions, loan mortgage documentation, as well as corporate real estate loan documentation. Grace has also represented major developers in Singapore in the sale of local housing projects, including en-bloc purchases and launch of properties overseas. James Ow Yong

James graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Singapore Management University and is an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore. James specialises in Criminal Law. Matters he has dealt with range from State Courts to High Court as well as appellate levels. James has worked extensively with drug, property-related, white collar, sexual, hurt and traffic offences, including drink driving, inconsiderate driving, and driving while under disqualification. He provides valuable advice from early on during police investigations to the preferring of charges, makes representations to the Attorney General's Chambers and prepares pleas in mitigation asking for leniency in sentencing. He has conducted and assisted in a number of criminal trials. He takes a holistic approach towards criminal practice and has a soft spot for at-risk youth. He has successfully obtained numerous community-based offender-specific sentences including mandatory treatment orders and short detention orders. James has acted for parties in a number of corruption matters involving various entities including public listed companies, state-owned enterprises and multinational corporations. Jonathan Cho

Jonathan believes that access to justice is for all, and that lawyers are gatekeepers who play a crucial role in ensuring this. He is committed to bringing about healing and reconciliation through his practice of law. Trained as a litigator, Jonathan's main practice area is dispute resolution and is well-acquainted with advocacy before all levels of court and is familiar with various dispute resolution processes, including "Alternative Dispute Resolution" (ADR) such as negotiation and mediation. He is also an Accredited Mediator under the Singapore Mediation Centre. His holistic problem-solving through the practice of law, to bring about true reconciliation and resolve to matters that will best satisfy his clients' interests and needs. Jonathan has also enjoyed a full spectrum of legal work and is also well-acquainted with non-contentious legal advisory matters (such as corporate and commercial advisory work for private and public organisations) as well as private client matters (such as estate and inheritance planning, probate, etc.). Joshua Tong

Justin Ng

Justin graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (Second Class (Upper Division) Honours) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020. Justin was first acquainted with the law during his National Service, when he was an Inspector in the Singapore Police Force. Having worked as a team leader in Tanglin Police Division, he is familiar with police procedure and the internal workings of the criminal justice system. Since the beginning of law school, Justin's interest has centered primarily on community law, jurisprudence and advocacy. He has taken part in several mooting competitions and was a semi-finalist in the 2014 Drew and Napier Advocacy Cup. Justin has also performed coveted internships at the Attorney-General's Chambers, as well as under The Law Society of Singapore's inaugural Criminal Practice Internship Programme in 2015. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Justin worked in a Methodist church for 3 years as a pastoral ministry staff. Having taught and counselled people from all walks of life, Justin now carries this sense of compassion into his practice of law. Mark Yeo

Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (2nd Class (Upper Division) Honours) from the National University of Singapore, and is a practicing Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Inspired to study law after reading Subhas Anandan's book titled "The Best I Could", Mark began his legal career training under the guidance of a Senior Counsel in a mid-sized law firm. After completing his training contract, he joined the Crime Division of the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) for three years prior to joining Kalco Law LLC in end-2020. Mark now brings to his legal practice in defence work valuable insight from the "other side of the fence". Mark has deep experience practicing Criminal Law. Whist in the AGC, Mark prosecuted a variety of cases in both the State Courts and the High Court, specialising first in violence-related offences, and subsequently in sexual offences. His other experiences include prosecuting offences under the Penal Code, Misuse of Drugs Act, Workplace Safety and Health Act and the Building Control Act. His notable cases include assisting in a High Court trial involving the offence of Rape, and being involved in a team of prosecutors handling the prosecution of the various parties involved in the collapse of an under-construction PIE Viaduct in 2017. Mark presently handles both civil and criminal litigation in Kalco Law LLC. His experience includes acting as lead counsel in High Court and State Courts cases, both at the trial and appellate stages. His experiences includes acting as lead counsel in a Magistrate's Appeal where he succeeded in getting the appellant's sentence for a sexual offence significantly reduced, while providing the court with the opportunity to clarify the sentencing framework for offences of sexual assault involving penetration. He has also acted as lead counsel in a civil trial, where he successfully assisted the claimant in recovering monies owed to them for works done in a renovation project. Outside legal practice, Mark spends much of his time running after his two children. Randhawa Ravinderpal Singh

Stacey Teng
