Baraa is committed to helping patients understand the importance of good oral hygiene. She is gentle yet thorough while cleaning their teeth but, also, takes the time to educate people about dentistry. Understanding not only how, but why, one must care for their gums and teeth, ensures they follow all the right steps to achieving good dental health.
Baraa graduated from the Royal Medical University in Stockholm, Sweden in 2015, with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. She went on to achieve her Master's degree in Odontological Prophylaxis where she researched dental phobia and dental anxiety.
She possesses a calming and gentle demeanour that is especially suited towards children and adult patients who have dental phobia or anxiety. In 2018, she studied pedagogics and attended a Children's Rights training program with the United Nations Convention, which further increased her knowledge of treating anxious children.
While working in national and private healthcare entities in Sweden, Baraa focused a lot of her clinical work on tobacco prevention and cessation and has actively helped patients quit smoking habits to gain better oral health. She has been invited to multiple peer lectures to share her knowledge and case studies on tobacco cessation.
Baraa provides a range of dental treatments ranging from teeth cleaning to identifying and treating gum disease to teeth whitening and tobacco cessation.
Baraa is fluent in English, Arabic and Swedish, which is appreciated by her patients as they can reach out to her in their own language.

Dr. Ali is a Specialist Endodontist from Stockholm, and he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with a Master of Sciences (MSc) from the highly regarded Karolinska Institutet in Sweden in 2013, and went on to achieve the Specialist Degree in Endodontics in 2020, after years of working and honing his dental skills.
With nearly a decade of experience working in various capacities as a dentist, dental consultant and as a clinical lecturer in Sweden, Dr. Ali has now joined the Snö team in Abu Dhabi where he can perform all endodontic procedures, restorations, extractions, TMJ, minor surgical procedures like incision and drainage of abscess, and surgical exposure of un-erupted teeth in addition to emergency consultations.

As a little girl, Dr. Dana loved helping people and making them feel better, only to receive their smiles in return! As she grew, her interest grew and she went on to specialize in the field of orthodontics, which she says is the ‘science of smiles'.
Dr. Dana practices general dentistry with a specialization in Orthodontics so that she can help patients of all ages achieve their optimal healthy smiles. She appreciates the significant effect well-aligned teeth can have on personality development and the increased self-esteem that goes with it. She works with her patients to address their points of concern to create healthy, beautiful smiles.
A believer that the key to good oral health is in prevention, she often tells her patients ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure', and encourages them to be diligent with brushing and flossing twice a day.
Dr. Dana grew up in Saudi Arabia, where she completed her Bachelor's degree in 2007 and worked as a General Dentist for over 5 years in government and private dental facilities.
In 2013, she relocated with her husband to the UAE, where she completed a 3-year Master's degree in Orthodontics, where she trained with a unique team of orthodontists from Sweden, in affiliation with Malmo University.
Dr. Dana spends her free time playing and roughhousing with her energetic sons.

Dr Jennifer Hoy has over 15 years of experience in ‘family dentistry', having worked in leading clinics in the UK and in several GCC countries. Her decade-long work experience in the GCC includes countries like Qatar, Oman and the UAE, and involves all aspects of general dentistry, including pediatrics.
Prior to moving to this part of the world, Dr Jenny (as she prefers to be called), worked at the Imperial College- Dental Surgery, in London, for over seven years. Her tenure in London exposed her to people of various cultures and backgrounds and she thrived in that melting pot of nationalities. Having dual nationality herself, being half English and half Greek, Dr Jenny enjoyed conversing with her patients and getting to know more about their native traditions and history.
Dr Jennifer is a general dentist who treats the whole family. With her training in many specialized areas, like pediatrics, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry, she offers the convenience of a "one-stop" solution for a family's dental care needs. She is, also, a certified Invisalign™ practitioner.

Dr Lynn Hunt has over 8 years of experience treating adults and children in different parts of the world, including the UK, Australia, South Africa, and Singapore, which gives her a truly global perspective on the understanding of cultural dental habits. Her mission is to provide comprehensive dental care to all patients while maintaining transparent doctor-patient communication.
Dr Lynn specializes in Restorative Care - which includes repairing missing parts of the tooth structure. The goal of restorative care is to restore and maintain one's natural smile and prevent future oral health issues. A certified Invisalign™ and Cfast practitioner, she applies the least invasive technology to help patients achieve their best, healthiest smile.
Dr Lynn Hunt graduated in 2011, obtaining her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dundee, Scotland. During her elective study years, Dr Lynn practised in clinics and dental schools in Scotland, Australia, and Singapore, which prepared her to handle various dental situations and treatments.
During her time in the UK, she worked at an anxiety clinic that honed her knack for being a people's person and helped patients who suffer from dental anxiety have a stress-free visit. In Australia, she completed a forensic dentistry course, which proved to be an enlightening and interesting experience. While in Singapore and later in Cape Town, South Africa, she interacted with patients from a diverse range of cultures and dental habits, giving her a truly global perspective on the understanding of cultural dental habits. This global experience stands her in good stead at Snö Dental where she interacts with patients from diverse cultures and communities.
When she is not at the clinic, Dr Lynn spends her time golfing with her husband and enjoys the sunny Abu Dhabi weather. She stays fit through yoga and various gym classes.

Dr. Mohamad is an award-winning dentist who holds over 20 years of experience from Sweden, the UK, and the UAE. He has been practicing in Abu Dhabi for the last 12 year and his major fields of clinical interests include root canal treatments, restorative and aesthetic dentistry including crowns, bridges, veneers, lumineers and implant prosthetics.
Dr Mohamad's passion for biology and chemistry with practical science and its implementation led him to pursue dentistry as it is a medical science that heavily relies on both the law of physics and the artistic touch.
A keen sportsman, Dr. Mohamad is an avid martial arts practitioner, holding black belts in both Taekwondo and Karate.
Dr. Mohamad graduated from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 1997 and has completed several training and certifications in Endodontics, Orthodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Implant prosthetics, Dental trauma management and Oral cancer.

Navida has over 20 years of clinical experience in the UK. She completed her Bachelor in Dental Surgery at The University of Manchester, UK graduating with Honours and has Postgraduate Training in Cosmetic Dentistry and Endodontics. She is also certified in Conscious Sedation and Invisalign. She has completed the MFGDP and MFDS examinations from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She has spent some time in Vancouver, Canada, where she was involved in undertaking research as part of her final year elective.
Navida has a broad base of clinical experience having previously worked in hospital, general practice, and the community dental service. She has a keen interest in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Navida has spent a significant portion of her career working in an independent practice looking after patients on a private basis. This has allowed her to spend the time required to provide dentistry at the highest level using the latest and very best materials and techniques. Patient expectations are vastly increased and so excellent communication and good interpersonal skills are mandatory.
Some of her earlier clinical career was based in community dental service where she was involved with the treatment of patients who are unable to access care in general practice, her duties involved the delivery of dental care to both adults and children with special needs. She gained experienced in anxiety management techniques in particular providing treatment using Conscious Sedation (IV and IHS) and also providing care under General Anaesthetic. Part of her work here also involved Oral Health Promotion and screening of School children.
Working as a Maxillofacial House Officer opened up yet further opportunities, here she assisted with the treatment of Maxillofacial Trauma and Orthognathic Surgery.
Navida is married with three sons, keeping her busy outside of Dentistry! She loves to travel and recently moved to Abu Dhabi from the UK. She is currently learning spoken Arabic language to help connect with and facilitate better communication with her patients and the local community. She enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family.

Dr Nikita Ruparell's superpower is her ability to calm and soothe the most anxious patients. Her gentle approach can put any patient at ease and can dispel any lurking fears they may have of visiting the dentist. Her ability to do so stems from her experience working in the busy NHS (National Health Service) clinics across the UK, where she provided dental treatment to high need patients of all ages.
Dr Nikita graduated as a Dentist in 2014 in the UK, after previously having obtained a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then joined the NHS and practised all aspects of general dentistry, from carrying out clinical case-based presentations to planning the emergency dental treatments required in complex to moderate cases.
Alongside her clinical work she has passed her MJDF Part 1 examination from the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) and has completed the Aspire Dental Academy Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative course.
She worked in mixed dental practices, both private and NHS, across London before moving to Abu Dhabi in 2018. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry due to the variety and continuous learning the career brings on a daily basis.
Dr Nikita attaches a lot of importance to preventive dentistry, ensuring people all of all ages are aware that regular checkups and daily care help ensure natural dentition is maintained for as long as possible. During her stint in London, she was a preventive educator to young children (aged 5 - 10) providing oral hygiene and diet advice, while highlighting the importance and benefits of being aware of one's oral health from a young age.
She volunteered to work in parts of rural India, too, carrying out dental education, emergency dental care and minimally invasive dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, she practices daily yoga, travels regularly and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
She is fluent in English, Gujarati and, basic Spanish.

Dr Roelien has dentistry in her genes. Her father is a very prominent orthodontist in South Africa and her grandfather also practised as a general dentist and lectured at Pretoria's dental school. As a child, she was exposed to braces, crooked teeth and the happy smiles of patients who finished their treatments. "A smile says a thousand words and opens doors you never knew were shut. It starts friendships, careers and romantic relationships, the first thing in meeting any person is your hello and your smile."
Dr Roelien completed her education and training in South Africa, Scotland, Sweden and Dubai. Dr Roelien holds a Master's degree in Orthodontics from Malmö University, Sweden and European University College, Dubai. She owns her own clinic in South Africa and has years of professional experience in the UAE. Dr Roelien perfectly complements the Snö team, allowing us to solve even the most difficult orthodontic cases.
When she is not at the clinic, she is publishing and lecturing on orthodontics, in the UAE and abroad. This helps not just the Snö team, but wider dental community in Abu Dhabi and the UAE to reach the highest standards of orthodontic work. Her guilty pleasure is her love for baking, particularly cakes and pastries.

Dr Roelien is a member of the South African Dental association, the South African Society of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists and the European Orthodontic Society (Provisional Diplomat).

Dr Roula has over 17 years of experience helping children grow healthy smiles, in Lebanon and the UAE. Her calm and friendly demeanour makes children comfortable in her presence and helps build trusting relationships. She believes that the enjoyable visits the children have when they visit her create a positive attitude and motivates the children to improve their oral hygiene at home.
Having grown up in Lebanon, Dr Roula graduated with a Masters's degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the Beirut Arab University in Beirut. Her pediatric dental training included management and treatment of special needs patients, conscious sedation, pediatric dental rehabilitation, hospital dentistry with children under general anaesthesia, and interceptive orthodontics.
Dr Roula is devoted to helping children overcome their dental anxiety and fear by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere for their dental care and using various techniques ranging from distraction to inhalation and sedation. Her practice philosophy includes taking the extra time to get to know each one of her patients and making each experience a fun and positive one.
She believes that pediatric dentistry is all about taking baby steps in introducing the child to dental treatment in a fearless environment remembering that "prevention is better than cure". One of the aims of pediatric dentistry is maintaining oral health by doing simple procedures rather than complicated treatment plans to ensure the health of the natural teeth.
In her free time, Dr Roula enjoys cooking for herself and her close ones. She tries to make time for a regular swim and enjoys a good book occasionally. Her favourite way to unwind is to watch medical or historical dramas like Grey's Anatomy, The Crown, etc.

Dr Ruth is a General Dentist from Singapore and has practised general dentistry for more than 7 years in her home country. Before setting up a new clinic in Singapore before becoming its Clinic Manager and Head Dentist from 2018 to 2021, she worked at the Ministry of Health Holdings and was posted in different government hospitals and treatment centres. Among these centres are KK Women's and Children's Hospital where she provided dental treatment to children with a complicated medical history and special needs. She, also, worked in the National Dental Centre (NDC) where she was selected as one of the two Endodontic Officers out of over 50 colleagues, to provide root canal treatments for patients. She also was part of the teaching team for the NDC in-house dental nurse training course, conducting lectures and examinations for the participants.
Dr Ruth graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Dentistry from the National University of Singapore.
Having relocated only recently to the UAE, in April 2021, she is new to the UAE and enjoys learning about the local history and culture. She, also, enjoys travelling, tennis, and snowboarding.

Michaela started her career as a Dental Hygienist in South Africa where she worked alongside one of South Africa's prominent orthodontists. Working closely with the orthodontics team allowed her to incorporate orthodontic considerations and understand the pivotal role dental hygiene plays in the success and outcomes of orthodontic treatment.
Her role as the dental hygienist in orthodontics, as it is a key and important one! From education to assessment, to supportive therapies during orthodontic treatment and maintaining oral health, Michaela has a unique and frequent opportunity to impact her patients' oral health while they undergo orthodontic treatment.
Often told she has ‘soft hands', Michaela is very gentle as she helps patients maintain good oral hygiene by thoroughly cleaning their teeth. She scales, polishes, and offers whitening or bleaching solutions for patients, as needed. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and ensures they have, not only, an enjoyable session, but, an educational session, too.
She is a typical ‘Saffa' who loves to chat and laugh with her patients and they, in turn, enjoy the easy-going, cheerful atmosphere in her clinic.
Michaela grew up in the Northern Cape of South Africa along the coastline and graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Hygiene, from the University of Pretoria, in 2015. She then went on to work in a private clinic and volunteer in community service projects. During this period, she worked closely with special needs and handicapped children.
When she is not working, she enjoys cooking and baking while listening to good music.
