VISION GLOUCESTER - Key Persons

Agnes Ali

Born and bred in Switzerland, Agnes qualified there as an optician in 1997. She then spent the next 5 years in Jordan working on a project of the Christian Blind mission. Working alongside an Optometrist, Agnes was inspired to pursue an Optometry career in the UK. Since qualifying in 2009 Agnes has worked in independent opticians as well as in hospital eye departments. Agnes has always loved working with children and was introduced to Behavioural Optometry in 2010 when working for Keith Holland Opticians in Cheltenham. Due to family commitments, it took her 10 years from my first being exposed to Behavioural Optometry to actually practicing it. Agnes is registered with the General Optical Council and is also a Member of the British Association of Behavioural Optometrists. Away from Optometry, Agnes is a wife, mum and step-mum, keen vegetable gardener, and cyclist.

Equipped with all our specialist home visit equipment, a fantastic range of frames and of course our specialist ‘domiciliary' Optician, Glen will cheerily bring a fantastic optical experience to your home (or place of work, or just about anywhere for that matter) And, when your specs are ready he'll even deliver those for you too. When Glen isn't being an Optician on wheels, you will probably find him playing his large double bass on a stage somewhere in Gloucestershire. Glen is a member of popular local band ‘Solid Gone'.
